Woodblock Wednesday - Floral Anniversary

 

Amy Tsuruta generously hosts a monthly challenge for all of us who still treasure our woodblock stamps.  The last day of the month she invites everyone to dust off their woodblock stamps and create.

During a recent antique trip, I came across a group of three floral stamps sitting all alone among a booth of other treasures.  Of course, they came home with me!  Lucky me - one of the stamps is Hero Arts Silhouette Spray (2010) and in perfect condition.

The image was stamped with Adirondack Pesto, Lettuce and Mushroom dye inks then die cut with Unity Stamps Stitched Scallops & Arches nesting dies.  I lightly inked the edges with Latte dye ink.  The image was layered onto silver cardstock arched die.  I found the beautiful designer paper on a recent trip to my local Hobby Lobby store.  LOVE the colors!  It was mounted onto Stampin' Up! Always Artichoke card stock.  The card was finished with a woodblock sentiment from Hero Arts, gems, silver cord and Memory Box Kaleidoscope Butterly die.
