Di's Digi Design Challenge - Handcolored Image

I hope everyone has a little crafty time this weekend!  I'm getting a head start tonight by joining Di's Digi Challenge and a handcolored image. The Animal Safari image from Di's was colored with Copic Markers, die cut and layered onto designer paper from Crate Paper.   I rarely use large embellishments since most of my cards are mailed.  However, I sifted through my stash and came up with a fun floral/rhinestone combo.  One of my goals this year is to use what I have on hand!!   I would like to share my card with the following: Di's Digi Design Challenge - Handcolored Image Word Art Wednesday Challenge:  Week #489 - 490   Cute Card Thursday #685 Anything Goes     Mojo Monday Sketch #559

Bugaboo - Friday Freebie

Each week Bugaboo features an image in the shop  and you can get it FREE.   This week's digital image is Hang in There - Dog I needed a gift bag and enclosure card for an upcoming baby shower at work. This week's image is perfect!   This is one of the things that I love about using digital images --- Sizing! I enlarged the image for the bag to 6 inches and about 2.5 inches for the gift card.   Of course, the image on the gift bag was  paper pieced and the entire panel has a machine stitched border.   Be sure to stop by the Bugaboo Blog for more design team inspiration! I'm also sharing my project with the following: Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge:  Leap into the Unknown (Baby shower gift bag and card) Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge:  Touchy Feely   (texture added with machine stitching and paper piecing) TTCRD:  Anything Goes

Mo's Digital Challenge #152 - Buttons

This week the Mo's Challenge Blog is asking us to use Buttons.  I had this cute elephant image called " I Forgot " colored and on my craft desk.  This is going to a co-worker who is having a baby girl in a couple of months.  Usually, baby cards don't come easily to me but this one went together in a snap! The image was colored with Copic markers.   I made a frame using Spellbinders Picot Edge circle and a standard circle for the inside.  I thought the designer paper was just to cute to cover completely!  I added several buttons, baker's twine and a little sentiment from Mike's $1 bin.  Oh, I added a zig zag machine stitched border. Thanks for stopping by for a closer look!
