Julee Tilman, owner of Verve Stamps,  designed and is generously giving away an adorable digital set called Love From Me . Great sentiments and fun images! Of course, she has included a couple of coffee cups... PERFECT for those of us who are coffee addicts!! Thanks Julee!! I pulled out a paper pad from Pink Paislee called Switchboard and layered it with one of the digital sentiments. This week's challenge at Art Impressions is Spring Fling or Use Spring colors. This combo of bright, cheerful colors certainly reminds me Spring! I even created a Spring scene filled with these adorable AI Duck Stackers .   I started my Spring scene by sponging  the cloudy background using Memento  Danube Blue ink and a cloud die cut. The grass and fence are both dies  from My Favorite Things. The Duck Stackers were colored with Copic Markers and shaded with Charcoal pencil then fussy cut and adhered with dimension tape. I have a clean and simple card for this week's My Favorite Things Card Sketch featuring Polynesian Paradise. The circle has been sponged with Memento Tangelo and Dandelion inks. I'm sharing a quick Anniversary card featuring the Mojo Monday Sketch #479 and Wishing You set from Verve. The sentiment has been layered onto Stampin' Up! In Color designer papers.  I added a doily from my stash. A machine stitched border and Verve sequins finish the card. This will be going in the mail to my in-laws for their upcoming 51st wedding anniversary. The current Art Impressions challenge #191 is Card Resolution.  We have been asked to try a new technique. This is my first time inking up the adorable Love Birds clear stamp by Art Impression. {LOVE} this set and it's perfect for Anniversary cards that I need for family, friends and church members. I recently watched a fabulous  technique video on Heather Hoffman's   blog showing a distress ink and brayer watercolor background.   I used Tim Holtz Tumbled Glass Distress ink for my background and I really like the result. Today begins a week long Birthday Celebration for Bugaboo's 7th Birthday ! Day 1 offers a photo challenge and my card features the adorable Make I Snappy - Birthday fishes   The image was printed on Stampin' Up! Whisper White Cardstock and colored with Copic Markers.  The base panel was dry embossed with Cuttlebug dots and  spritzed with distress ink.  Twine and a rhinestone finish the card. Welcome to the first 2017 Stella Says Sketch Challenge! My card features a new image from the Bugaboo Shop called Winter Pup Hop over and check out all of the January releases and get this  sweetie 50% off!! I started by printing the digital image onto Stampin' Up! Retired Creamy Caramel. Then I colored the image with Copic Markers and highlighted with a white prismacolor pencil.
