Stampin' In Alaska

  Happy Thursday!  I'm joining the current challenge at Di's Digi Stamp Challenge.  The current bi-weekly challenge theme is Load on the Flowers . My floral themed card features Di's adorable Plantpot Wendy digital image.   The image was printed onto X-Press It card stock and colored with alcohol markers.  An inky background was created by daubing Memento Blue Danube ink around the image after die cutting. The image panel was layered onto designer papers from My Mind's Eye Reunion paper pad.  A sentiment from Stampin' Up!, several floral accents and dew drops were complete the card.   I'm joining the current Hero Arts challenge with a tropical scene featuring Waterfall Heroscape stamp set. This was my first time using this set.  It was SO easy and I love the results.  The tropical waterfall scene reminds me of the Hawaiian islands.  Hubby and I are looking forward to a trip to Kauai soon.  This scene really makes me anxious for our trip!   I'm joining the current "Funny Bone" challenge at Art Impressions.  My card features a couple of their retired sets - Catching Z's and Fish, Bait, Nap.  This is the perfect image for several fisherman in our family! I hope everyone is having  a great weekend! This week's challenge at  Catch the Bug is the Great Outdoors .  When I saw this week's theme I knew that I wanted to use this cute digital Moose image from the Bugaboo Store.  (You will LOVE that he's only $1) I also knew that I wanted to create a scrap page this week. So, I pulled out some photos from trips that we've made recently around Alaska and made a simple layout. One of the great things about digital images is the ability to make them any size you want! I LOVE that! The digital moose image was printed 4 inches tall onto beige card stock. I then colored the image with Copic Markers, fussy cut and adhered with dimensional foam tape. Various stickers were applied from  Echo Park and Close To My Heart kits which were in my stash.
