My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge #506

Sharing a fun scene for this week's MFT sketch featuring Best Fins.  The images were stamped onto watercolor paper, colored with Tombow markers and die cut.  The base panel is from Doodlebug Designs Anchors Aweigh paper pad.  A layer of vellum, coordinating sentiment and dewdrops finish the card. I would like to share my card with the following: My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch: Challenge #506 Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge:  Humorous/Fun   Word Art Wednesday: Anything Goes Week #456 - 457   Jan's Digi Stamps Challenge Blog:  September Anything Goes

Unity Stamp Company - Watercolor Stamping Challenge

I'm joining the Unity Show and Tell Facebook group challenge this week with the Water coloring Stamping technique.  Check out Laura Mooney's tutorial HERE for this technique. I started with Unity's Cuttlebug Sea Horse set .  Various distress inks (Wilted Violet, Salty Ocean, Peacock feathers & Mermaid Lagoon) were applied directly to the stamp and then misted with water.  I then stamped directly to water color paper.  Distress ink was splattered with a paint brush for the background. A sentiment from the set was stamped with Versafine Clair and dewdrops were applied as bubbles. There She Goes Birthday Celebration - Day 2

I'm back with a second post tonight! There She Goes is celebrating their 4th year in business with a week of challenges. The challenge for Day 2 is to create something for the man/boy in our life and a birthday theme, of course. Here's what I came up with using "Float My boat" set: This cute little image is so sweet!  I used Copic Markers to color the image and sponged Memento inks for the sky and water.  The base was dry embossed using a Cuttlebug Spots embossing folder.  The base panels were machine stitched and dewdrops were added.  Finally, a birthday sentiment was added. Happy Birthday to There She Goes!
