House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge - Water Fun!

I'm sharing a fun summer shaped card for the current House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge  - Water Fun !  The House Mouse Water Fun image was stamped onto X-Press It card stock and colored with Copic markers and Prismacolor pencils.   An ink blended background was created with a sunburst stencil from My Favorite Things and Tim Holtz distress inks.  The shaped panel and card were die cut with Unity Stamp Company Scallops & Arches nesting dies .  A few dewdrops finish the card. Art Impressions Challenge - Artful Architecture

The current challenge at Art Impressions is Artful Architecture .  While browsing through my Art Impressions stamp collection I came across the retired Road Trip set.  Perfect!  I've combined it with the new Story Tile die to showcase several types of fun architecture. I trimmed the Story Tile die to accommodate a slightly smaller card 4x4.25.  Each of the images were stamped then colored with Copic markers.  The die was cut with gingham paper from my stash.  I fussy cut the small car image and adhered for dimension. Creative Worships Stamps - Psalm 118:24

I'm sharing a card featuring the Creative Worship Stamps In the Psalms clear set.  I love this set!  During a recent thrift store trip I came across a box of scrapbooking embellishments.  The SW Nature Icons chipboard from K&Company was unopened in the box!  What a great find. I've used both sides of the Daffodil Dance paper from Graphic45.  I went a little "Old School" with green mulberry paper and a string of pearls from my stash for extra dimension.   I'm joining the current House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge with a fun tuxedo style fold card.  My card features House Mouse Designs Sweet Nectar stamp set colored with Copic markers.  Designer paper is Recollections and Simple Stories Lavendar fields. Sweet November Stamps - June FB Challenge Include Sun

I created a fun underwater scene featuring Sweet November Stamps digital images Scuba Sammy , Scuba Sally and Mermaid Reef .  I love how easy it is to resize and make scenes like these with digital stamps. The image was colored with Copic Markers, liquid glaze was applied to the goggles and Stickles were added to the bubbles.  A sunray stencil from My Favorite Things (no longer in business) was used with distress inks for the sunny water effect.  This was my first attempt at this technique and I was pleased with the results. A sentiment from My Favorite Things Best Fins set was stamped directly to the scene panel. STAMPlorations - Retro Masculine

While going through my STAMPlorations stash this week I came across a couple of freebie items that Shery tucked into my order.  The Retro People ATC  seemed to coordinate perfectly with #12 Mixed Media Card Front .  I matted both panels with cardstock from my stash and a Die-Namic from My Favorite Things.  A really quick masculine card! The paper goods from STAMPlorations are fabulous quality. designs printed on 120# (325 gsm) matte cardstock — it’s REALLY thick! Each card front is approximately 4” by 5.25” — perfect for your A2 cards! For super-quick cards, simply stamp your sentiment on the card front, adhere to your card base, and voila — you’re done!  I would like to share my card with the following: STAMPlorations:  Never-Ending Anything Goes Simon Says Stamp Monday:  Masculine Simon Says Stamp Wednesday: Add a Sentiment Word Art Wednesday:  Anything Goes

Happy Father's Day

I recently received this fabulous masculine stamp set from Unity Stamp Company called Hook, Line & Sunshine .  It's perfect for the fisherman in your life and best of all it's only $12.47 right now! My card design was inspired by Christine Dearinger over on the Unity Show & Tell FB Group . The image was stamped onto kraft card stock and colored with Prismacolor pencils.  It was die cut with Gina Marie stitched square nested dies then layered onto Stampin' Up Chocolate Chip card stock.  The base panel was die cut with wonky stitched die (maker unknown) with paper from The Paper Studio (Hobby Lobby).  Inked edges and a coordinating sentiment complete the card. I went clean and simple (no embellishments) as this will be mailed to my father-in-law this week.  He is a fisherman and I think he will like this. Art Impressions - Enjoy the Ride

I'm joining the current Art Impressions challenge with a fun interactive card featuring their Born To Ride Se t and Garden paper .  This is my first attempt using the new Snap 'N Spin accessory from Pear Blossom Press.  They are so easy to use and reasonably priced. The image was stamped onto Neenah Solar White card stock and colored with Copic markers then fussy cut.  A slider space for the mower was die cut with Lawn Fawn Slide On Over (LF1202) dies.  A coordinating sentiment was included to finish the card.
