Unity GIU Day #3

I'm so excited to be your Growing In Unity Gal this week! This is my first time to participate and I'm so honored to share my inspiration with you. I will be sharing clean and simple designs with you featuring several of Unity Stamp Company's   fabulous rubber stamps this week. ~ GIVEAWAY ~ Don't forget to leave a comment each day  (Monday through Friday) for your chance at winning two Unity Itty Bitty stamps of your choice! Summers in Alaska are full of fun camping trips! I couldn't resist making a one-layer card using  two Itty Bitty sets: Direction of your Heart Destination Happiness   The sunray was masked with Post it Notes and sponged with Memento inks.    The camper was fussy cut and layered in front. Don't forget to leave a comment for the random drawing at the end of the week. Thanks for stopping by!  I always enjoy reading your comments.

Unity Friends With Flair

It's Friday and that is exciting because I get to show you another fun project for the Unity Friends with Flair blog hop! I just {{LOVE}} this Itty Bitty set called Destination Happiness (You can get this set for $3 right now!) and Direction of Your Heart DH and I spend many weekends  during the summer traveling in Alaska  with our travel trailer.   It's SO much fun and the trips are SO relaxing! Thanks for stopping by for a closer look!

Unity Friends with Flair and Be Inspired Challenge

I am so glad that I got a chance to play along with the Friends with Flair Challenge this week!  I've had an idea growing for the past week to use the scrapbook page layout provided on the Be Inspired challenge blog.  It finally came together for me today!  Here is the sample layout provided for the challenge. Here is my take on the layout using an Itty Bitty from Unity called "Destination Happiness"  and the chevron background.  I have also used a scrolled journal block that I received in a freebie bag.  I have to admit that this is definitely not my typical style of scrapbooking.  It was nice to step out of my comfort zone and give it a try!  I also have to admit that this is my first completed page in probably a year.  Yikes! Thanks to Joslyn for the challenge and inspiration to get me back into creating! PS > Sorry for the poor photo!  I never quite know how to photograph a 12x12 scrapbook page.  Tips are alway...
