Stampin' In Alaska

Happy Monday! Today the Bugaboo design team is sharing projects which are  Anything But a Card. My project features the lovely Thank You Tulip Block . I removed the "Thank You" sentiment with  Paint program on my computer. The sentiment was then stamped from Verve Stamps. I have created a  Acrylic Post-it Note desk holder using a 4x6 acrylic frame which I picked up at Wal-Mart for $1.00. It's a fun and easy project which is also a great gift idea! Welcome to a new weekly theme challenge at Catch the Bug! For this week's color challenge my card features the lovely Tulip Thank You Block The "thank you" sentiment has been removed and replaced with a Mother's Day sentiment. I colored the image with Copic Markers and lightly sponged the background with Memento ink. It's time for another Stella Says Sketch Challenge . This week's sketch is very versatile. Here's what I created using  Bugaboo's digital Thank You Tulip Block The image was printed twice and the tulip blooms were colored and fussy cut for dimension.  Yellow Stickles were added to the blooms for dimension as well.  The background was water colored with Tim Holtz distress reinker.   I hope this has inspired you to join this week's sketch challenge!  Be sure to link your project to  Bugaboo's challenge blog for your chance at winning free Bugaboo images.
