Stampin' In Alaska

  The current Penny Black Saturday Challenge is On The Farm .  This is an older (2006) wood mount stamp from my stash called Spinning A Yarn.  The image was stamped onto water color paper and colored with Tombow markers.  It was layered onto a variety of designer papers from the Carta Bella Farm to Table paper pad.  A few enamel dots finish the card. I used baker's twine for the ball of yarn with this image a few years ago.  You can see it HERE .   I was so excited to be selected as a featured artist at Create a Smile for my February sketch challenge card!  You can see that card posted HERE . Even more exciting was their invitation to be a Guest Designer for the current sketch challenge! My slimline version of the sketch features the adorable Crazy Chick clear set.  The images were stamped then clear embossed, colored with Copic Markers and fussy cut.  Papers are from my stash of October Afternoon paper kits. A few enamel dots and sentiment using my "old school" label maker finish the card.   I'm joining the current "Fancy or Fussy" challenge at Penny Black Saturday Challenge with this busy group of chicks.  This stamp from Penny Black called Spinning a Yarn makes me smile every time I use it!  It seems that I have been enjoying chicken images lately as well.  The image was colored with Tombow markers and die cut.  It was layered onto designer papers from BoBunny Celebrating Freedom paper pad and Doodlebug mat sprinkles.  I also added baker's twine for a ball of yarn.  Fun!   I'm joining the June Mix It Up Challenge at SugarPea designs.  I chose to follow the sketch using a retired SugarPea set called Best of Cluck.  I kept my design CAS.  The chicken wire paper is also from SugarPea designs called Countryside Charm.   Happy Monday!  I'm sharing a last minute entry with the current Create A Smile challenge.  I can't get enough of this set from their April release called Crazy Chick ! The image was colored with Copic Markers, die cut and layered onto papers from Carta Bella's Farm to Table paper pad.  I just love the fun birthday sentiment in this set!
