Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge: #292 Anything Goes

I'm joining the current Anything Goes Challenge at Mo's Digital Pencil with one of her adorable digital images called Bossy .  The image was printed onto Stampin' Up! Whisper White and colored with Copic Markers and Prismacolor pencils. I found a kind of sassy digital birthday sentiment in my files from Create With TLC.  The image was layered onto papers from American Crafts.  A little floral embellishment finishes the card. I would like to share my card with the following: Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge:  #292 Anything Goes   Jan's Digi Stamps Challenge:  June Anything Goes  Southern Girls Challenge:  June Anything Goes  Word Art Wednesday Challenge:  #442 - 443 Anything Goes

I've had so much fun this week participating in the Coffee Lovers Bloghop!  Thanks so much to Amy and her team, the sponsors and all of the inspiration provided by the other hop participants.    I will definitely be spending additional time visiting blogs and viewing all of the coffee, tea, cocoa and apple cider inspired projects!!   I'm sharing my cards with the following: Fall Coffee Lovers Bloghop SugarPea Designs Mix it Up:...

Bugaboo - New Release Tuesday

Today is New Release day at Bugaboo . The Design Team is featuring the new Ornamental Flowers image. The image was colored with Copic Markers and layered on two panels of gingham designer paper. I rarely used ribbon, but thought this design called for a ribbon accent. I found this seam tape ribbon in my stash. A coordinating digital sentiment is from Word Art Wednesday . Welcome to a new challenge with Meljen's Designs! This week's challenge is "Splat!" (Use paint, ink spray or mist on your project) Here's my project using Meljen's " Artist Mug " My splattered background was created by  flicking a paint brush after dipping it into  distress reinkers. The digital image was printed twice, colored with  Copic Markers, fussy cut and popped up with  dimensional tape. The coordinated digital sentiment is from Create With TLC. Just a reminder:  You must use Meljen's Designs images on your project. Each week THREE random participants win their choice of TWO digital images from Meljen's Designs . Thanks for stopping by! I always enjoy reading your comments.

Design Team Day with Meljen's Designs

Good morning! It's my turn to share a little Meljen's inspiration with you. I decided to share one of my favorite  ways to embellish cards. It's quick, easy and (dare I say) Cheap! I add machine stitching to many of my projects. If you don't own a sewing machine there are many ways to achieve the same look. You can draw stitched borders or hand stitch a fun border.  The possibilities are endless! The enamel dots were created "from scratch" by melting Ponybeads and Perlerbeads. You can find a quick tutorial HERE . You can find this adorable " Little Sock Monkey " in the Meljen's Designs shop. The coordinating digital sentiment is from Create With TLC . I hope you are inspired to color your favorite Meljen's Designs digital image and give this technique a try. You still have time to join this week's  Button It Up!  Challenge . Why not add a little stitching as well? Have a gre...

Sassy Cheryl Challenge #206 - Just Foolin' Around

This week's Sassy Cheryl Challenge is  " Just Foolin' Around ". Dawn is hostessing this week and she has asked us to use a "silly" Sassy Cheryl image for our project.   The first "silly" image I could think of was one of Cheryl's vintage images called "Sassy Opinion".     I kept the design clean and simple to focus on the silly image and coordinating sentiment.  A paper border from Basic Grey Olivia Paper pad and twine finish it off.     The sentiment is continued on the inside.  It's so perfect for this image, don't you think?  The digital sentiment is from Create With TLC . I am also sharing this card with the ladies over on the Sassy Cheryl Show Me Challenge #142 . Be sure to check out both challenges this week!  Cheryl hosts a fun and easy challenge every two  weeks that only involves your camera and a blog post. It doesn't have to be about crafty project...
