Stampin' In Alaska

  Good morning!  I'm sneaking in a very last minute entry for the Penny Black Saturday Challenge with a monochrome design. My card started with a gelli print using acrylic paint and a stencil.  I then used a silhouette 2003 woodblock stamp from Penny Black called Irises which was stamped directly onto the panel in VersaClaire black ink.  A few gems and birthday sentiment finish the card. I really like how this turned out!  It will be going in the mail to a member of our church who has a birthday this month.   I'm joining the current Penny Black Saturday Challenge with a mixed media tag bookmark.  I started with a Gelli plate print using packaging material.  The Penny Black Irises 2664L was stamped in blue Versafine ink.  Distress ink was stenciled on a couple of the corners.  The sentiments were created with a Dymo ID and applied.  Lastly, various fibers in blue were added for a tassel. I'm joining the April Penny Black and More Challenge with Black & White plus one.  My card started with a distress ink panel.  Penny Black Irises was stamped with Versafine Tuxedo black ink.  A Memory Box butterfly die, rhinestones and SU sentiment finish the clean and simple card.
