Stampin' In Alaska

The Unity Stamp Company is hosting another fun blog hop and  WE are invited to play along! I'm linking my card up which was created for today's Itty Bitty Challenge on the  Unity Show & Tell Facebook Page . My card features the adorable Itty Bitty Give, Give, Give & Gobble (on sale right now for $3.37) Of course, the base panel was dry embossed with a Cuttlebug dot folder.  Memento Desert Sand was lightly inked across the embossing. The stamp was inked in three colors and then paper pieced. It's never to early to start making  Thanksgiving Cards and this will be going into my stash! Friday, Friday, Friday! It's time to play along with Unity Stamp Company Friends with Flair . This week I've chosen an Itty Bitty set that has been in my stash awaiting ink.  I bought this because I love camping and this little camper really caught my eye. Love at Home The image was colored with Copic Markers. The sky and grass were sponged using  Memento inks. Of course, I used the new Unity {be Inspired} Sketch challenge for my card. Happy Friday! I have been visiting family for the past couple of Friday's and missed posting with Unity's fun linky party. Friends With Flair Thanksgiving is such an overlooked Holiday. Maybe because it's hard to for us to give thanks? Maybe because it isn't a big money maker for retailers? I don't know, but...... The Pilgrims gave thanks to the Lord for their bounty. The Bible has multitudes of references to the giving of Thanks. Happy Friday!  Every Friday Unity Stamp Company Hosts the Friends With Flair linky party.  This week I have used an Itty Bitty called " Good times all around " for my project.  This image came to mind because a small carnival has come into Anchorage this week.  Every day I see the Ferris wheel and think of this fun set! I have combined it with a the Mix-Ability and Free For All Challenges on Splitcoast Stampers .  The base is acrylic paint which has been swooshed around with a plastic Pampered Chef tool.  We were suppose to use a credit card, but I didn't have an extra.  :-)  Then I splattered various distress inks with a paintbrush to give a confetti effect. Happy Friday!  I have been out of town and unable to participate with Unity's Friends with Flair blog hop for the past few weeks.  I have really missed playing along.  This week I decided to use the Be Inspired sketch for my project: The sketch is pretty clean & simple.  I used Unity's Itty Bitty Button Bingo image and the birthday sentiment is from Memory Box. It's Friday and that means another Friends with Flair linky party.  I decided to step WAY out of my comfort zone this week and try a mixed media project.  I recently bought "Our House.... Serve the Lord" during one of the fabulous Itty Bitty sales.  I decided it would be perfect for this project. Here's what I came up with: I was inspired by the recent Mix-Ability challenge posted by Dina Kowal on Splitcoast Stamper.   She provide a great video that helped me get started.  You can watch her video HERE .   I started with various acrylic paints and used plastic wrap over the wet pain for some texture.  I applied versafine ink to drywall tape and stamped in the corners.  I also applied acrylic paint to bubble packing and stamped in the opposite corners.  Finally, I brushed on a light coat of white acrylic paint then stamped the image with Versafine black ink.  My pop of color is a red heart brad.
