Stampin' In Alaska

The Bugaboo Design Team is sharing inspiration today featuring a new release called Super Dad. I printed the image onto Stampin' Up Whisper White cardstock and colored with Copic markers then fussy cut.  The image was adhered with foam  tape onto paper from Carta Bella Beach Boardwalk paper pad. Welcome to a new challenge at Catch the Bug ! This week we have a fun color board for your Bugaboo projects. You aren't required to use Bugaboo images but we sure like it when you do! My card features a fun Bugaboo scene: Scene it - Cow Trio   The scene was colored with Copic markers. A machine stitched border and enamel  dots finish the card. I'm sharing a quick card for a couple of the current challenges at My Favorite Things. I started by using cutting the MFT  Hello There Die-namic from  MFT Steel Gray card stock then applied a light layer of Stickles. The die was layered onto MFT Safety Orange and Ripe Raspberry cardstock.  Designer papers are from Crate Paper Gather paper pad. The current Art Impressions Challenge is dots and stripes.  I pulled out  Hot Java Mama from Art Impressions for my project.  I paper pieced the robe in polka dot paper from Simple Stories Homespun paper pad. May 10 is Mother Ocean Day and my card features a retired image from Bugaboo called SeaHorse.  The image was printed onto Stampin' Up! Real Red card stock and fussy cut.   Designer papers are from  Fancy Pants Designs and the  Loopy Rings die cut is from Memory Box.  Machine stitching on the sentiment from Your Next Stamp finishes the card. This was one of the very rare evenings when everything came together  perfectly and quickly for this card. {LOVE that!} Of course, it helps so much that I started by pulling out my Warm & Fuzzy Friends card kit from My Favorite Things.  The kit was a limited time offer, but  the website offers the pieces individually. I started by stamping and die cutting the owls onto water color paper then colored with Tombow markers and blended. The papers are from MFT Trail Mix and October Afternoon Campfire. The finished card is 4.25 square.
