Sweet November - Spring Fairy

I'm sharing a card featuring a Sweet November digital stamp called Lucky Cloverfield .  Such a fun little fairy image.  I took the creative liberty of coloring him with a pale green Copic Marker to coordinate with older papers from My Mind's Eye.  Out of the box technique was used with the image for added interest and finished with enamel dots. Di's Digi Challenge - Load on the Flowers

Happy Thursday!  I'm joining the current challenge at Di's Digi Stamp Challenge.  The current bi-weekly challenge theme is Load on the Flowers . My floral themed card features Di's adorable Plantpot Wendy digital image.   The image was printed onto X-Press It card stock and colored with alcohol markers.  An inky background was created by daubing Memento Blue Danube ink around the image after die cutting. The image panel was layered onto designer papers from My Mind's Eye Reunion paper pad.  A sentiment from Stampin' Up!, several floral accents and dew drops were complete the card. Your Next Stamp Challenge #160 - Photo Inspiration

I'm sharing a fun layered card for the current YNS inspiration challenge.  My card features Perk Up! and the photo colors pink and grey.  I LOVE the little espresso machine in this set.  It was colored with Tombow markers and fussy cut. The designer papers are from My Mind's Eye Love Me paper pad.  A doily (recycled from use at a local restaurant) and twine were added from my stash.  The layered design was inspired by the current Mojo Monday sketch.   I would like to share my card with the following: Your Next Stamp Challenge #160 - Photo Inspiration Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge #555   2021 Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop Simon Says Stamp Monday: Recycle (doily) Simon Says Stamp Wednesday:  2 or more Pattern Papers

In keeping with the challenge option I have included lots of geometric shapes. The designer papers are from My Mind's Eye. My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge #426

I recently rediscovered this adorable retired MFT set in my stash.  It brings back many memories for me of clothes (including my wedding dress) and doll clothes that were sewn by my mom and grandma.  Sweet memories!! The current sketch challenge provided the perfect opportunity to give the Sew Nifty Die-namics and stamp set some inky love. I started by selecting designer papers from My Mind's Eye Sunshine paper pad.  The base panel was machine stitched with my sewing machine that I've had since college.  I love adding machine stitching to my projects.  A great embellishment, easy and cheap! The dress forms were die cut with coordinating paper.  A pearl accent, silver die cut scissors and sentiment finish the card.  Thanks for stopping by for a closer look!  Do you pull out older sets and ink them up?  I definitely need to do this more often.  I'm sharing my card with the following: My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch:...
