Stampin' In Alaska

  Unity Stamp Company is hosting a fun color challenge this month on their Show & Tell FB Group .  My card features the Unity Full or Surprises set and papers from American Crafts Everyday paper pad. Copic markers and Stickles were used for the silly bird. The base panel was dry embossed with Cuttlebug dots.  I finished the A2 size card with baker's twine, rhinestones and a coordinating sentiment from the set.   I'm sharing another fun card featuring a Gerda Steiner Designs set called Vrooming By!   Gerda has such a talent with these cute critters!  This is one of their 3x4 clear sets and comes with three phrases, a word and and exclamation point.  Very versatile so that you can customize your message. I began by stamping the image onto X-Press It white card stock with VersaFine Clair Nocturne pigment ink and embossing with clear powder.  The image was fussy cut and colored with Copic markers.  I also fussy cut the houses from a sheet of designer paper by American Crafts for the background.   The houses were layered onto Stampin' Up! Basic Grey card stock.  A hand drawn center line for the street was added with an American Crafts Galaxy Marker.  Lastly, the image was adhered with dimension tape and a coordinating sentiment added.
