Sugar Pea Mix It Up Challenge #62

It's been awhile since I've gotten the chance to play along with SugarPea Designs monthly Mix It Up Challenge .  This month's inspiration board really caught my eye. I found the perfect diagonal designer paper for the base panel in my Basic Grey stash.  The duck image from SugarPea Quackers set was colored with Copic Markers and fussy cut then adhered with dimensional tape.  The sentiment and cattails were stamped from the same set.   Sometimes clean and simple is tough for me!  This went together so quickly and I'm pleased with the final design.  I'm also joining the AAA Cards CAS challenge with stamping along the edge. I'm sharing my card with the following: SugarPea Designs:   Mix It Up Challenge #62 AAA Cards CAS Game:  #155 Along the Edge Cute Card Thursday:  #614 Anything Goes QKR Stampede:  Challenge #378 Anything Goes

I'm joining the current sketch challenge and birthday project - Clean and Simple - at My Favorite Things.  My clean and simple card features a retired MFT set called Life's Direction.  I Love these solid critter stamps!  Of course, this week's sketch was the perfect opportunity to pull it out and play.   I started with a sponged masking with Tim Holtz distress inks.  The images were stamped with VersaFine Clair ink using my Misti.  I stamped along the edge on to join the AAA Cards challenge this week.  I'm sharing my card with the following: My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch:  Challenge #468 My Favorite Things Birthday Project:  Clean and Simple AAA Cards CAS Game:  #155 Along the Edge Cute Card Thursday:  #613 Anything Goes 2 Crafty Critter Crazies:  #33 Anything Goes

The mistletoe image was colored with Copic Markers and Stickles on the berries then layered simply on card stock from Stampin' Up!  The holiday sentiment is from a retired SU set and silver cord finish the tag. Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge - Winter

Today starts a new challenge at Mo's Digital Pencil .  The challenge theme for December is Winter.  We would love to see your Mo Manning images including snow, Christmas and any winter themed project. I was the lucky winner of the October challenge and selected the adorable new Happiness Is digital image as my prize.   I was also asked to join the team this month as Guest Designer.  I'm not gonna lie... Mo's Design Team is so full of talented ladies that I was a little intimidated!   BUT Mo's digis are so fabulous and fun to color that this little card went together quickly. The card base was created with a watercolor wash using distress inks.  Once dried, I splattered white acrylic paint using a toothbrush for a snowy effect.  The image was colored with Copic Markers and fussy cut then layered over a wintery die cut from Memory Box.  I finished the card with a sentiment stamp from my stash.
