Di's Digi Challenge - Button, Brads, and Bows

I'm joining the current Buttons, Brads and Bows challenge at Di's Digi Challenge Blog. I have to admit that I was so struck by Nancee's card this week that I had to purchase Di's Stitched For You digital image .  One of my favorite things about digital images is the instant download.  I purchased, printed, colored and created this card so quickly! The image was printed onto X-Press It card stock.  It has been colored with Prismacolor pencils and Copic Markers.  The image panel was die cut with a stitched square from Gina Marie Designs. I used a template for the spool shaped card, but it could have been easily cut freehand.  Below is the template that I found through a Google search.  It was provided by Sweetly Scrapped. A seam tape ribbon, button and sentiment from Hero Arts finishes the card.  The shaped card was also wrapped with the seam tape. I would like to share my card with the following: Di's Digi Challenge - Button, Brads, and Bows Simo...

Timeless Tuesday and Sketch Saturday

Hope you are having a great weekend!  It was beautiful today in Anchorage... 40 degrees and sunny.  I still have about 2 feet of snow in my yard, but the streets are clear and the snow is melting. I'm posting my card for this week's Timeless Tuesday Challenge to Frame It!  I have also used  Sketch Saturday's Challenge #255 design provided by Jen. Here's my card using Flourishes "Stitched for You": This will be going to my Mom next month for Mother's Day.  She is currently a knitting fiend!  Beautiful creations and she really enjoys the craft.  The image was colored with Copic markers and Framed with a Spellbinder nestibilities die.  The yummy designer papers are from MME Quilting Bee paper pad. Thanks for stopping for a closer look!
