Stampin' In Alaska

I needed a quick Birthday card for one of the ladies in our church. This image was colored and in my folder so it made this card come together so easily. (Love That!)  This digital image is from Eureka Stamps and called Hummingbird Birthday . It was printed onto Stampin' Up! Whisper White card stock and colored  with Copic Markers.  The image was then layered onto SU Perfect Plum and Old Olive card stock.  The base layer was embossed  with a Cuttlebug Swissdot folder and  layered onto SU Basic Black. (Whew!  LOTS of layers) I finished the card with a sweet dotted organdy ribbon. Welcome to a new challenge with Eureka Stamps! This week we are asking you  to create a project with a  Clean and Simple  style. My card features the adorable #1604 Sad Moose and #15105(508) Birthday Came The digital image was printed onto Stampin' Up! card stock and colored with Copic Markers and Prismacolor pencils. It has been mounted onto SU Marina Mist and a small strip of Basic Grey dp finishes the card with SU twine. Sadly, this will be my last post with the Eureka Stamps Design Team. I have enjoyed my time and will be  playing along as time allows. The base is from Basic Grey Origins paper pad. Welcome to a new challenge at Eureka Stamps . This week we are asking that you use a snowman or snowflake  on your project. My card features: 27301 Snow Background 27502 Wonderful Counselor This clean and simple design uses a little mixed media background this week to showcase  the fun Snow Background digital image. I started by randomly sponging blue chalk. I then lightly applied metalic rub-on over several of the snowflakes, applied Stickles then sprayed the entire panel with Sheer Shimmer Mist by Tsukineko.
