Stampin' In Alaska

I'm joining the current House-Mouse & Friends challenge with this sweet Stampendous Spring Sweet stamp.  I don't often work with purples, but I really like how this one turned out! I stamped the image onto watercolor paper and colored with Tombow markers.  The image was layered on Basic Grey Wisteria designer paper. The card was finished with a few lavender pearls and a birthday sentiment from SugarPea Designs stamped onto a tag with bakers twine. I had a few minutes to play today with the current challenge over at Art Impressions .  We were asked to  make a tag... and I chose to create a birthday bottle gift tag. (Who doesn't love to receive Bath & Body Works goodies?) My tag began with cutting the Spellbinder  Long Classic Rectangle and scoring about half way.  I then used a Spellbinder circle die for the top to slide over the soap pump.  The cake image from AI's Chocolate Therapy was colored with Copic Markers.  Stickles were  added to the candle flame.  Brown liquid applique was added to the cake icing. I fussy cut the image and layered onto a doily which was sprayed with dylusions ink spray and distress ink. It's time for another fun challenge with Meljen's Designs .  This week we are asking you to use tags with a Meljen's Designs digital image on your projects. Here is what I created using a sweet pre-colored image from Meljen's called " Lovey Pup ": Isn't this pup just the sweetest thing?!  And the pre-colored image made for a very quick card.  The designer papers are from BoBunny and I found the sweet tag in my stash.  It was in a package of several cute tags from Jo-Ann's.  The digital sentiment is from Create with TLC . It's finally Friday and that means it's time for a new Sweet 'n Sassy Digi challenge!  Our challenge this week is to create a tag or use a tag on your project.  This was a tough challenge for me, but I printed out two fun Sweet 'n Sassy Digi Stamp sets and had a lot of fun. I used the pre-colored version of " Eskimo Kisses " and all three sentiments from " Eskimo Kisses Sentiments " digi stamp sets.  I added liquid applique to the main image for some dimension.  I created pockets with two of the card panels so that I could tuck little message tags into the card front.  The tags were created using the Museum Tag die from Memory Box.  The tags were also dry embossed using Cuttlebug snowflake and swissdot emboss folders.  I finished the square panels with machine stitching and a couple of pearls.
