Amy Tsuruta hosts a monthly challenge to use our woodblock stamps. I look forward to playing along each month as it gives me an "excuse" to look through my stash of older stamps. This month I was in need of an Anniversary card for my cousin and her husband. This woodblock image from Stampendous (2011) Beachfront Boat worked perfectly. I've had this one for a while and I believe it was purchased at JoAnne's when they sold the Stampendous line of stamps. The image was stamped onto an ink smooshed (left over ink) page then cut out and layered with black card stock. A few embossed lines were applied with my cutting board and a sentiment from Unity Stamp Company. A coordinating border of Stampin' Up! Perfect Plum card stock finishes the card. My clean and simple design will be going in the mail this week!
