Your Next Stamp Challenge #166 - Water Play

I'm sharing a fun beach scene birthday card for the current challenge at Your Next Stamp -- Water Play. My card features the adorable Mini Snorkel Fun Penguin (CYNS211) and the Beach Scene Builder die from MFT. The card started with a Gelli Print background using distress inks and spritzed water.  The die cuts were used with various Stampin' Up card stock and assembled for the scene.  The penguin was stamped, colored with Tombow markers and fussy cut.  I added a birthday sentiment from YNS Keepin' it Reel set. Your Next Stamp Challenge #152 Trios and Sketch Saturday

Happy Thanksgiving!  I was able to sneak in a little crafty time today and join a couple of fun challenges.  I recently purchased the adorable Photo Booth set from YNS and it paired perfectly with the Sketch Saturday challenge.  I'm hoping that the three panels from the sketch will satisfy the "trios" for YNS.  :) The cute pup and cat were colored with Copic markers and layered onto papers from Echo Park Birthday Wishes paper pad.  A coordinating sentiment from the set finishes the slimline card design. YNS Fun Friday Challenge #107 - Die Cuts

This week's challenge is to include die cuts on our projects.  I was a recent challenge winner and used my prize money to purchase their adorable Retro TV die.   I cut the die in both black and silver card stock an layered them then included a birthday sentiment from Keepin' It Reel for the shaker. The retro design paper is from Authentique's Dapper paper bundle.  I also used YNS gumdrops for the TV knobs.  The base card stock is Real Red from Stampin' Up! Thanks for stopping by for a quick look!  I always enjoy hearing your feedback.  Oh, and be sure to check out the current YNS challenge and join the fun!
