Lil' Inker Designs and There She Goes

Hi!  I have two projects to share with you tonight.  The first for this week's There She Goes challenge is to create a card/project using the theme "Presents/Gift Giving".  What better gift than a little bag of Hershey kisses! I used two TSG sets for this project.  The wrapped gift is from "Scent-sational" and the sentiment is from "Blossom by Blossom".  The little gift bag is from Martha Stewart and the image was colored with Copic Markers. My second project tonight for the Lil' Inkers Design Blog .  Laura, owner of LDB, is having an impromptu challenge to CASE the following card. I chose to focus on the colors in Debby's Card and this is what I created using "Rain Boy" by Lil' Inker Designs. I used this week's sketch from Splitcoast Stampers as my starting point.  The little boy image was colored with Copic Markers and the umbrella has been paper pieced.  Memory Box dies were used for the clouds and ta...

There She Goes Challenge 172 - Let them eat Cake

This week's challenge on the There She Goes Clear Stamps blog is to create something sweet.  In keeping with their 4th Birthday celebration, I created a Birthday card. I used the cake image from "Scent-sational" for this clean and simple design.  I have combined it this perfectly coordinating digital sentiment.  It's a freebie that you can find on Create with TLC .  (Be sure to give Paulette a Thank You for all of her hard work!)  The image was colored with Copic Markers and orange Stickles were added to the candle flame.  Baker's twine and pearls are the finishing touches. Thanks for stopping to take a closer look!  Hope you have a great Friday!

You can scroll down or use the links below to view my posts for Day 1 and 2 of the celebration. There She Goes Celebration Day 1 There She Goes Celebration Day 2 Day 3 of the celebration includes an inspiration photo: Here's what I came up with focusing on the color combo and using " Scent-sational ": Day 4 of the celebration is a challenge which calls for banners.  Below is what I came up with using a ribbon banner die: I used the adorable set " Poultry in Motion " for this fun birthday card. Finally, Day 5 of the celebration is a challenge to use three or more embellishments.  Below is my card using machine stitching, baker's twine, Stickles and buttons: This card was created using " Scent-sational " and " Blossom by Blossom ". Whew!  That's a lot of creative...

There She Goes Birthday Celebration Day 1

There She Goes is celebrating their 4th year in business with a week of challenges. The challenge for Day 1 is to create something with numbers and a birthday theme, of course. Here's what I came up with using the "Scent-sational" set: I am having so much fun playing with the sweet skunk images in this set!  The skunk image was colored with Copic Markers.  The atomizer was paper pieced with Basic Grey Shine On papers.  The base panel was dry embossed using a Cuttlebug numbers folder.  Coordinating designer papers were used from the Shine On paper pad.  Thanks for stopping by to take a closer look! Happy Birthday to There She Goes!

There She Goes Challenge #171

Good morning!  I am posting a quick card for this week's sketch challenge over on There She Goes blog.  Below is this week's sketch provided by Kim: Here is what I came up with using TSG " Scent-sational " set: I kept my card pretty CAS and colored the sweet little skunk image using Prismacolor pencils and baby oil.  This set has some really adorable "Scent-timents" to go along with the cute skunk images.  Of course, skunks are not one of my favorite animals.  But Melyssa has created a group of cute skunk images that are hard to resist! The image and sentiment were layered on Stampin' Up! Riding Hood Red, basic black and Georgia Pacific White is the base.  I added machine stitching for the base panel border. Thanks for stopping by for a closer look!  Hope you have a great Friday!
