Stampin' In Alaska

  Happy New Year's Eve!  I hope everyone has a very creative 2022! I'm playing along with the current challenge at Create A Smile.  I was inspired by the colors and yummy brown bow featured on the moodboard. My card features an adorable freebie from Create A Smile that you can find here .  I LOVE this image and you may see another card soon using the fun coffee cup!   The lid and cozy were paper  pieced.  The sweet bird was colored with Copic Markers.  I had the doily die cut in my stash which was colored using my Gelli plate.   I'm sneaking in a last minute entry for the December Monthly Mix Challenge at Gina K Designs.  This month's challenge is ink blending.   I love the ease and versatility of Gina K Foil-Mates and they worked perfectly for this challenge.  I foiled a sentiment from the Birthday Best foil mates then inked the edges.  The Hot Dots panel was foiled the ink blended with Tim Holtz distress inks - Seedless Preserves, Shaded Lilac and Wilted Violet. Of course, I finished the card with some yummy Gina K. Designs Gingham Fancy Ribbon.   The current challenge at House Mouse and Friends is to include the option of snow or glitter.  I had so much fun coloring this image called Bursting with Excitement. I colored the image with Tombow markers and Prismacolor pencils.  The sentiment is from Colorado Crafts.  I pulled out an old Cuddlebug embossing folder for the Happy Birthday background and layered several glittery scraps from my stash. I'm playing along with a couple of challenges with my slimline Mother's Day card. The adorable floral image is a digital from Jan's called Friendship Flowers .  I've colored the image with alcohol ink and fussy cut. The slimline sketch design from MFT worked perfectly with the floral bouquet. I've layered the image onto a die cut from Memory Box and various designer papers from my stash.  A Lawn Fawn sentiment die and gems finish the card.   I'm joining the December Share Your Designs Challenge at Gerda Steiner featuring her sweet Mouse with Balloon digital stamp. The image was colored with Copic markers and Prismacolor pencils.  I fussy cut then layered the image onto pattern papers from Echo Park. I finished the card with a machine stitched border, birthday sentiment from Stampin' Up! and matte sprinkles from Doodlebug Design.   Sharing a mini slimline design using the current Create A Smile sketch challenge . My card features a sweet freebie pig image that arrived with a recent order. Papers are from Pebbles, Inc. and sentiment is an old Memory Box clear set.

  I was so sad to read that this will be the last challenge at Mo's Digital Pencil.  I really appreciate the design team inspiration and generosity of Mo Manning hosting these challenges. My card features the adorable Baby With Wagon digital image.  Be sure to stop by Mo's shop where you'll find a huge variety of fun digital images.   The image was colored with Copic Markers and Prismacolor pencils.  I've layered the image onto patterned papers from Echo Park Happy Birthday paper pad.  I finished with a few enamel dots and Happy Birthday sentiment.   I'm joining the current Gerda Steiner Share Your Designs challenge with a fun underwater scene.  Gerda's clear set Deeply is one of my favorites.  The adorable images and puny sentiments are so fun! The images were colored with Tombow markers and fussy cut.  I used a strip of Gelli Print for the sea and a thin glitter border.  A few Iridescent Bubbles from Sunny Studio finish the card. I would also like to share my design for Gerda Steiner's Guest Designer call this month.  (Wish me Luck!)   I'm joining the current challenge at Di's Digi Challenge blog with a fun card featuring Ellie Strawberry Cupcake . The current challenge is to use a digi.  The image was colored with Copic Markers and shading with charcoal pencil.  It was die cut and layered onto pattern papers from Doodlebug Designs Take Note paper pad.   I've used a Mojo Sketch from my archive files.  It's so helpful for me to have a sketch to follow!  A machine stitched border and enamel dots finish the card.   I'm joining the December challenge at Becky's Place featuring her adorable Pre-colored Jim the Snowman digital image.   I printed the pre-colored image onto Core'dinations white canvas card stock and fussy cut.  The image was layered onto winter designer paper from my stash and Stampin' Up! Lovely Lilac and Granny Apple Green card stock.  The challenge twist this month is embellishments.  My card includes felt snowflakes, a machine stitched border and winter words from an old Making Memories word fetti die cut sticker sheet.   I'm playing along with this week's sketch challenge at My Favorite Things .  So many possibilities with this sketch! My card features the adorable MFT Birdie Brown Space Explorer set.  Such a fun set!  I've layered the image onto a galaxy background created with my Gelli Plate and acrylic inks.  SO fun and super easy! This will be going to a young man in our church for his 6th birthday.  He's actually a twin... so watch for another cute birthday card soon!   I'm sharing a fun holiday gift tag for the current moodboard challenge at Create A Smile . I started my project with a kraft tag and randomly stamped a snowflake image.  I followed by splashing white acrylic paint with a toothbrush for a fun snowy effect. The adorable moose from CAS Nanu set was colored with Prismacolor pencils and fussy cut.  I finished with a few felt snowflakes and paper strips from Basic Grey's Jovial paper pad.   I'm joining Jan's Digi Stamps Challenge with one of her pre-colored digital sets called West Main Barn .  I love how quickly this card came together using this beautiful pre-colored image! I printed the image onto white canvas cardstock from Core'dinations. The Scripture is a free digital file from Word Art Wednesday .  I used an older "Off the Grid" stamp from Stampin' Up! for the card base.  Papers are also from Stampin' Up! - Real Red and Creamy Caramel.   I'm sharing a fun wintry card with the current sketch and color challenges at My Favorite Things.  The image is from a retired Stampin' Up! set called Polar Bears.  This is my first time to use it and it's just adorable! I colored the image with Copic Markers, added a few star embellishments and layered onto papers from Echo Park.  Fun sketch and great for my stack of paper scraps.   I'm joining the current Art Impressions Challenge with a fun Thanksgiving card.  My card features the adorable Full of Thanks set.  This set is so fun and full of great Thanksgiving images and sentiments!   I'm joining the current challenge at Di's Digi Stamps with Lots of Layers.  My card features Di's cute fox from The Hedgehog, the Mole and the Fox digital stamp . I printed the image and fussy cut the cute Fox then colored with alcohol markers.  The Thanksgiving Scripture is an older freebie digital image from Word Art Wednesday .  I layered both images onto papers from Park Lane's Woodland paper pad.  Enamel dots and Sizzix leaf dies finish the card.   I have been away from the craft room for a few weeks.  But I'm busy this week finishing my Thanksgiving cards for friends and family.  Hoping to get them in the mail this week as well! I couldn't resist using this adorable Pumpkin Girl digital from Gerda Steiner.  The image was printed onto water color paper and colored with Tombow markers.  I fussy cut the image and layered onto papers from Stampin' Up! I finished with a sentiment from Hero Arts.  No embellishments were added since this will be going in the mail this week.
