This week's challenge over on Mo's Digital Challenge Blog was "Flowers, Flutters, Fairies, Flowers, Fancy Fold... Choose Any or All". I decided to make a Fancy Fold with Flowers. For my fancy fold I've made a twisted easel card. It's really easy and has a provides a great presentation for your focus image. So, I've tried to give you a quick step by step below: First, I cut my base card stock in a 4.25 x 4.25 square. Then I scored the front panel from the lower left hand corner to the top right hand corner. Then I colored Mo's digital image "Eileen" and attached it to a Spellbinder nestibilities frame. Only the bottom section of the image has been attached to the front panel of the card. This is the final result. You "twist" the front panel and the main image pops up. This week Dawn challenged us to use our Mo's Digital images to create a Tag AND use our favorite embellishment. You can find all of the details HERE . I used the adorable Eileen image that I recently purchased from Mo's store. The image was printed directly to the pre-fab tag. I printed the image again on October Afternoon dp and cut out pieces for her scarf, gloves and apron pocket. The image was colored with Prismacolor pencils and baby oil. I've also attempted to make an envelope for the tag. I free-handed it based upon the measurements of my tag. Finally, my current favorite embellishments are Baker's Twine and felt. I used my MFT die-namics grass die and green felt for the tag. Baker's twine and jute were also used on the tag and envelope. Thanks for stopping by and taking a look!
