Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge #298 Anything "Mo" Goes

I'm sharing an Anniversary card with the current Mo's Digital Challenge featuring one of my favorite Mo Manning images - Tom and Tilly . The image was colored with Prismacolor pencils and blended with baby oil.  I fussy cut the image and layered it with dimension foam onto a galaxy background.   I experimented with the "grass" by layering various sizes of die cut circles.  It's difficult to see, but I like the effect and will try it again! I would like to share my card with the following: Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge #298 Anything "Mo" Goes  Cute Card Thursday: #665 Anything Goes Word Art Wednesday:  #470 - #472 Anything Goes   Jan's Digi Stamps Challenge:  December   Simon Says Stamp Monday:  Celebrate

Mo's Challenge #149 - Distressing

This week's challenge on the Mo Manning Challenge blog is "Distressing".  I colored this sweet Mo Manning digital image called " Tom & Tilly ".  I began by using shades of brown with my Copic Markers to get a sepia effect.  At the end I colored the floral bouquet and sponged the sunset using Memento inks. Here's what I came up with: In keeping with the challenge, I distressed the image panel and inked it with Memento inks.  I also distressed the edge of the brown panel then layered on an embossed base.  I wanted to keep the base simple so as not to detract from the image. Thanks for stopping by to take a look!

Mo Manning Digital Challenge #139 - At the Park

This week the ladies over on Mo's Digital Challenge blog has given us a fun theme "At The Park".  I have spied several recent cards using this sweet " Tom and Tilly " image.  It wasn't yet in my Mo Manning collection, but this was the perfect challenge for the purchase! What a better way to spend the evening but sitting on a park bench watching the sunset? Of course, at this time of year, sunsets in Alaska don't happen until about midnight.  However, we have gorgeous sunsets during the Winter months! This adorable couple was colored with Copic Markers.  The sunset sky was sponged with various Memento inks - Dandelion Yellow, Rose Red and Tangelo.  I kept the layout very clean and simple to focus on the main image.  The Cuttlebug dotted swiss emboss folder was used to partially emboss the base card.  The sentiment is an old wooden stamp from Michael's $1 bin.  I've used it a lot because I really like the font.
