SugarPea Mix It Up Challenge #40

I haven't gotten a chance to join the SugarPea challenge for a few weeks.  I decided this month's sketch was perfect for a clean and simple masculine birthday card.   I had a lot of fun with the Easily A'Moose'd set from SugarPea.  The moose image was stamped onto watercolor paper and colored with Tombow markers then blended.  I'm sharing my card with the following: SugarPea Designs Mix It Up:  Challenge #40   Simon Says Wednesday Challenge:  Anything Goes Word Art Wednesday:  #324-#325 Anything Goes Repeat Impressions Anything Goes Challenge ~ F2818   

Art Impressions Challenge #226 - Anything Goes

I'm stopping by with a fun masculine birthday card for the current Anything Goes challenge at Art Impressions .  I can't believe it, but this is my first time inking up the adorable new Reel Great Guys Set.  It's perfect for the fishermen in my family! The image was stamped onto watercolor paper with Memento ink.  It was colored with Tombow markers and a blender pen.  The fish image was colored with Copic Markers and fussy cut.  Designer papers are from Carta Bella. Viva La Verve Sketch Challenge and Unity FB challenge

Happy Saturday!  I'm sharing a quick Thank You card featuring a sweet Unity Stamp Company set called Birdie & A Bear.  The current Unity FB Challenge is Green and Shiny Things.  I've added a few sequins and rhinestones for the shiny... green papers for the other requirement. The February sketch from Viva La Verve was the inspiration for this card.  The stamp was embossed and colored with Copic markers.  The designer papers are from American Crafts Dear Lizzy Neopolitan Paper Pad. Gerda Steiner Monthly challenge - February

I hope everyone is having a great weekend!  I'm stopping by to share a sweet Spring card for the Monthly Challenge hosted by Gerda Steiner .  This month's image is called Spring Bunny Friends.   You still have time to join the fun!   My card started by merging the image with Gerda Steiner's Tulip Bunny image to create my Spring scene.   The clouds and grass were sponged with Memento inks.  The scene was colored with Copic Markers and white gel pen highlights were added.   I pulled out my Hello Sunshine paper pad by Doodlebug for the coordinating Spring designer papers.  I love how these papers really made the Bunny scene pop! The card was finished simply with a grosgrain ribbon bow. Thanks for stopping by and taking a closer look! Catch the Bug - Saturday Color Challenge

Welcome to the February Color challenge at Catch the Bug!  We enjoyed all of the entries for last week's Bingo challenge.  Be sure to visit the challenge blog for the lucky winners. My card features Mini Set Roses and a sentiment from Stampin' Up!  This set is great for any occasion and includes two images and three sentiments.   The image was printed onto Stampin' Up! Whisper White Cardstock and colored with Copic Markers.  The background was created with a Copic Marker and Wink of Stella.  The designer paper panel is from MME Miss Caroline Dolled Up paper pad. The Bugaboo Design Team is sharing inspiration featuring a sweet digital image called Edward St. Pats.  The image has been colored with Copic and Spectrum Noir markers.  It was layered onto paper from Colorbok and a gingham ribbon finishes this simple design. Catch the Bug - Saturday Theme Challenge: Use Washi Tape

Graciellie Design and Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog Hop

Graciellie Design is so excited to be joining Coffee Loving Cardmakers today on a blog hop featuring the new Coffee & Love digital set by Graciellie Design. This set features a fabulous coffee cup image and 5 coordinating sentiments.  Of course, I'm a coffee lover and this set made me smile all over!  Coffee AND gorgeous floral accents.  What more could I ask for? My card started by printing the coffee cup digital image onto Core' dinations white canvas card stock.  The image was water colored using a water brush with Tim Holtz distress inks in Wild Honey, Weathered Wood, Ground Espresso and Peeled Paint. The cup was fussy cut and layered onto designer papers from MME Sunshine paper pad with foam tape for dimension.  A partial doiley, gold cord and machine stitched border embellish the card.  Of course, the card was finished with one of the fabulous coordinating sentiments from the new set.  It was also p...

My card features the adorable Mini Set - Dog Block .  The images were colored with Copic Markers and layered onto a dog themed designer paper. Graciellie Design February Release - In Christ Alone

I'm sharing a beautiful new set from Graciellie Design called In Christ Alone .  This digital set contains the beautiful floral blossom and three sentiments. The image and sentiment were printed onto core'dinations white canvas cardstock and watercolored with Tim Holtz distress inks. The image panel was layered onto digital papers from Graciellie Design's Pink & blue Watercolored Digital papers.   I love working with digital products.  They provide so much freedom for sizing and ease of storage.
