The image was colored with alcohol markers, die cut and layered onto designer papers from Stampin' Up!  The die cut and sentiment are from Sugar Pea Designs.   I love the inspiration board for the December challenge at SugarPea Designs.  The colors and sketch are both adorable!  However, I chose to join with the sketch this time.   Good morning!  I'm sharing a Fall card for the current SugarPea challenge.  I chose to use the fun sketch this month. The sweet bear from the Hey Fall set was water colored with my Peerless colors.  It was layered onto designer papers from a JoAnn's fall paper pad in my stash. I finished with a few enamel dots and a sentiment from Unity Stamps.  This will go into my Thanksgiving card stash.   I'm playing along with the August Mix it Up Challenge at SugarPea Designs.  My card features the adorable Hey Fall set and Birch Forest Cut Away.   The images were stamped onto water color paper and colored with Tombow markers.  Designer papers are from SugarPea Happy Camper paper pad.  A few enamel dots and sentiment finish the card.   I'm playing along with the current Mix it Up Sketch challenge at SugarPea Designs with a clean and simple birthday card.  My card features the adorable Quakers set from Sugar Pea.   The sketch elements were masked and sponged with Memento inks.  I stamped, fussy cut and colored with duck with Copic markers.   My clean and simple card will also be entered in the AAA Cards Birthday Celebration.  Happy 7th Birthday!   I'm sneaking in a last minute entry for the current challenge at SugarPea Designs.  I LOVE sketch challenges!  My card features the lovely Pretty Peonies set from SugarPea.   I used a fun watercolor stipple technique on the bloom using Worn Lipstick distress ink.  The leaves were water colored with distress ink.  Designer Papers are from a Jo-Ann's paper pad.   I'm joining the current SugarPea Designs Challenge using the sketch as inspiration.  My card features the Pretty Peonies set. I used a stippling color effect for the peony image using distress inks.  The dangling hearts die from Sugar Pea and heart emboss from Cuttlebug finish the card.  The Anniversary sentiment is from Sweet 'n Sassy stamps.     I couldn't resist creating one more Thanksgiving card with the adorable Hey Fall set and Treescapes die from SugarPea Designs. I'm so excited that SugarPea is sponsoring the Word Art Wednesday challenge this week.  The free Scripture word art this week is Psalm 69:30.  It's perfect for Thanksgiving and fit the current Mix It Up sketch as well.   The bear image was colored with Prismacolor pencils and blended with baby oil.  The designer paper is from Bo Bunny Beautifully Brisk paper pad.  A few gems finish the card.   I'm joining the current Art Impressions challenge with a little woodland hunting scene -- hunting for cake!   I need a card for my Dad's upcoming 75th birthday.  He is a deer hunter so I pulled out the fabulous Ole Buck set .  This set is full of fun outdoors images and coordinating sentiments. A birch tree die from SugarPea Designs was used on the base panel.  I sponged the sky using Memento ink and a scallop die.  The hunters were colored with Copic Markers, fussy cut and adhered with foam tape for dimension.  If you look closely, you can see a buck hiding in the trees! Of course, I finished with a fun sentiment and binocular image from the same set.   I'm joining the current Mix it Up challenge at Sugar Pea designs.  I chose the color option for my card and hoped the first color swatch is gray(?). Have you seen all of the fabulous inspiration using the new Hey Fall set and Birch Forest Cutaway die?  I knew that this set would be perfect for so many occasions including Thanksgiving.   I started by sponging Grape Jelly Memento ink with a scallop die for the cloudy sky.  I used Stampin' Up! Smoky Slate with the Birch Forest cutaway for the next layer.  The bear was die cut and colored with Prismacolor pencils and blended.  The sentiment and various images are all from the Hey Fall set.   I'm joining this week's MFT sketch challenge with a fun masculine woodsy card.  I pulled out my favorite MFT card kit - Warm & Fuzzy Friends to create a quick masculine birthday card. The critters were stamped onto water color paper and colored with Tombow markers.  They were layered onto a birch tree die cut and woodgrain dry embossed base panel.  A birthday sentiment from MFT finishes the card. I haven't gotten a chance to play along with SugarPea for awhile.  If you follow me, you know that sketch challenges are my favorite!  So is this adorable farm set from SugarPea called Barn to be Wild . This was not the direction that I had in mind when I started.  But I'm really happy with the end result.  The farm girl and pig were colored with Copic Markers, die cut then popped up on dimension tape.  I die cut the circle mask then sponged with distress ink for the sun.  I finished with a sentiment from the same set. I haven't been able to join the SugarPea Challenge lately.  I was inspired by the sketch and the Pretty Peonies set worked perfectly. The image was printed onto a script designer paper then colored with Copic Markers.  I stamped the image again on the base panel and lined up the colored image.  A few distress ink splatters and sequins complete the card. It's been awhile since I've gotten the chance to play along with SugarPea Designs monthly Mix It Up Challenge .  This month's inspiration board really caught my eye. I found the perfect diagonal designer paper for the base panel in my Basic Grey stash.  The duck image from SugarPea Quackers set was colored with Copic Markers and fussy cut then adhered with dimensional tape.  The sentiment and cattails were stamped from the same set.   Sometimes clean and simple is tough for me!  This went together so quickly and I'm pleased with the final design.  I'm also joining the AAA Cards CAS challenge with stamping along the edge. I'm sharing a card this morning for the current Mix It Up Challenge at SugarPea Designs.  I began by using the sketch as inspiration, but I realized while posting that the colors were used as well!    I started by coloring the camper and accessories from RV There Yet? with Copic Markers then die cutting.  I {LOVE} this set and it's perfect for summer adventures!  The starry sky background is from SugarPea Designs Happy Camper paper pad .  The variety in this pad coordinates perfectly with the camper set!
