Are you ready for Fall weather? This cute fox image was included with the August new release Christmas Peeks stamp set. Today I'm repurposing this set for a Fall Birthday card. Getting Started I began by trimming the Pebble Beach card stock A4 base panel to create my scene. The front panel has been dry embossed with a leaf folder from my stash then distressed with inks and paint. A glitter tape was applied to the edge. Plaid designer paper was adhered to the inside of the card. Stamp and Fussy Cut The fox image was stamped onto X-Press It card stock and colored with Copic markers. It was fussy cut and the greenery trimmed so that the fox could be seen "peeking" around the edge of the card. I chose to pair the fox with Fall colors and thought it would be adorable as a Happy Birthday card! Creative Takeaway To finish the card a few enamel dots from my stash and coordinating sentiment were added. Stretch your stash - take a look ...
For this week's challenge, I pulled out one of my favorite Art Impressions set called Doggie Kisses for a humorous Get Well card. I've used several different images and a sentiment from the set combined with the Story Tiles Template Die . The images were stamped then water colored with Tombow markers. A few enamel dots and coordinating designer paper finished this quick and easy project. I will be sharing my card with the following: Art Impressions Challenge #435 Furry Friends Simon Says Wednesday Challenge: Stamp It!
