Stampin' In Alaska

I'm joining the current challenge  over at Art Impressions with  a fun birthday card. My card is 5 inches square and features the retired AI image called "Clothesline". The image was stamped onto Stampin' Up! Crumb Cake card stock and colored with Prisma pencils.  I also paper pieced  several items on the clothesline. This image really makes me smile! The felt sentiment has been in my  stash waiting for the perfect card. I heat embossed the birthday sentiment onto vellum and included a vintage button/twine from my stash. I'm sharing a quick post tonight for this week's challenge over on Mo's Challenge blog .  This week we were asked to use fabric.  I pulled out this decorative felt border strip from my stash and here's what I came up with: Here's a close up of the colored image.  I used Mo's "I Dunno redux" image.  The sentiment is from Create with TLC where you can always find the perfect coordinating digital sentiment. The image has been colored with Copic Markers and prismacolor pencils.  General's charcoal pencil has been added and blended for shading.  I LOVE this effect!  I added a light layer of Wink of Stella glitter to the tutu.  I don't think the photo shows this very well.  There is also a layer of glossy accents on her boots.
