Stampin' In Alaska

  I've had this cutie on my desk for a few days waiting to be posted.  I bought this sweet image during one of Di's recent sales.  It's called Nutty & Boo. The image was colored with alcohol inks.  A twine bow was added for texture. I'm sharing with the current Di's Digi Challenge - Show Texture  

  I came across this adorable Create A Smile stamp company a few months ago and couldn't resist this adorable Crazy Chick set!  The expressions on these chicks are so Fun!   The current challenge at Art Impressions is all about honoring Women.  What better way to celebrate women than with the AI Craft Girls set. I started by coloring this group of crafty ladies with Copic markers.  It was die cut and layered onto papers from Carta Bella Sew Lovely paper pad.  The card was finished with a corner embellishment with a scissor brad from Eyelet Outlet and twine.   Good morning!  I'm joining the current challenge at Beccy's Place which is always Anything Goes.  Each month Beccy generously provides a free digital image in both B&W and pre-colored.  Beccy's pre-colored "Little Darla" image worked perfectly with the blueberry designer paper from Stampin' Up.  Beccy's optional challenge this month is to include food.  Perfect!   I couldn't resist playing along with the Spring Flower (optional) theme at House-Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge .  It's been a long, cold and snowy winter in Alaska!  I'm certainly ready to see Spring flowers... even with these cute mousies! The sweet image is from the House-Mouse Designs Spring Mini Clear Set  by Stampendous.  This is such a fun set of images and sentiments.  Thanks so much to Stampendous for sponsoring the challenge again this week!!   I'm joining this week's sketch challenge at MFT featuring Birdie Brown's Birth-Yay set.  The images were stamped on water color paper and colored with Tombow markers.   I'm sharing a fun birthday card featuring A Boy and His Dog digital set from Jan's Digi Stamps.  This set comes with both B&W and pre-colored images, sentiments and fun accessory stamps. I used several of the pre-colored images on my card.  I started by using the dog paw and bone image to create my own designer paper.  So easy and really creates a custom look! The birthday sentiment was merged with the boy and dog for the main panel.  A few enamel dots were added to finish the card. This will be going to a birthday boy in our church later this month!   I'm sharing with Di's current challenge - Cute and Cuddly animals.  My card features Di's Measure Up Mice digital image.  The image was colored with alcohol markers and charcoal pencil. I pulled out some sewing themed papers from Carta Bella to coordinate with the image.  A few flower accents, pearls and a scissor eyelet finish the card.
