I couldn't help but join the sketch challenge at Power Poppy with this last minute card!  I {LOVE} sketches and this one proved to be perfect for my Get Well card. My project started by printing the Power Poppy digital image Orchid Cascade onto Kraft card stock. The image was colored with Prismacolor pencils.  I hand cut the border shape to mimic the sketch.  Machine stitching and enamel dots finish the card. I'm sharing a quick card tonight for the current SugarPea Mix It Up Challenge.  I love their sweet Best of Cluck set!   I started by sponging Dandelion Memento ink then stamping a couple of the chicks.  The hen house was stamped onto kraft and die cut.  A coordinating sentiment, baker's twine and enamel dots finish the card. I'm joining the Celebrate challenge at A Blog Named Hero with a clean and simple Anniversary card.  In keeping with the 45th Anniversary Celebration, I've used a couple of wood mounted images for my card - Botanical Peony H2123 and Happy Anniversary C2763.   I tried the repeat stamping technique with the peony image.  I don't typical go "black and white", but thought it was appropriate with the designer papers from American Crafts.  I'm glad I stepped out of my comfort zone with this one. I'm joining the current challenge at Mo's Digital Pencil .  The May challenge is Anything Goes with an optional theme of For the Girls. I LOVE this sweet digital from Mo called Thinking of You.  I decided to merge it with the ocean landscape from Mo's Beach Elements set. The image was colored with Copic Markers.  I water colored the sky with distress ink.   A Happy Birthday sentiment and stitched sun die finish the card. I'm joining the Power Poppy Creative Confetti Challenge for May following their Sketch it Out! challenge.  Power Poppy has a fabulous sale on this fun image called Garden Fireworks at $1.49.  Grab it before it's Gone! I chose to crop the image and feature the Scripture that comes with the set.  The image was colored with Copic Markers and chalk.  Machine stitched accents, gems and a die cut hummingbird (courtesy of my mom) finish the card. I'm joining the current challenge at Art Impressions with this fun doghouse shaped card.  I've pulled out a couple of retired sets from Art Impressions called Fur-ever and To the End. The image was colored with Copic Markers and fussy cut.  I hand cut the dog house and added a paw brad to the sentiment from the AI Fur-ever set. I love the Birdie Brown stamp line from My Favorite Things!  Combined with my love of coffee... Friends at First Sip is SO much FUN! The coffee themed set is perfect for the Spring/Summer Coffee Lover's Blog Hop.  I took inspiration from the current MFT sketch and color challenges to create this fun card. Sharing a little coffee inspiration from Gerda Steiner tonight with the Mouse with Coffee digital stamp. The image was printed onto Stampin' Up Whisper White card stock and colored with Copic Markers.  I'm trying really hard to purge my crafty supplies this year.  All of the papers came together quickly from my stash to create this card! I finished my coffee card with a machine stitched border and ribbon from my stash. I'm sharing this fun coffee themed birthday card with several current challenges.  The inspiration began with the Wednesday Sketch Challenge #435 at My Favorite Things. My card features the adorable MFT Friends at First Sip by Birdie Brown . The image was colored with Copic Markers and fussy cut.  The dog images were stamped onto water color paper and die cut. A distress ink water color partial background is the base panel for the scene.  The Cityscape Nightline die is from Memory Box.  A birthday sentiment from MFT - PI All Occasion Sentiments finishes the card.  I'm also sharing with the current MFT Birthday Project Challenge to include a beverage .
