Your Next Stamp Fun Friday Challenge: #116 Pets

The current Fun Friday Challenge at YNS is all about pets.  I pulled out one of my favorite YNS sets - Aquarium Antics and created a quick shaker card. I started by using the coordinating die cut for the shaker window using designer paper from Carta Bella's Beach Boardwalk.  The fish bowl was stamped and colored on a separate sheet of card stock.  I created the shaker with a piece of plastic from my stash which I layered with the sequins and dimension foam.  Then layered it all and easy peasy! The turtle was stamped into water color paper and colored with Tombow markers.  I added a little orange for him to stand on and for a pop of color! My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge #442

I received lightening fast shipping with my last order from My Favorite Things and this cutie arrived in time to join the weekly sketch challenge.  My card features the adorable Bring Out the Sunshine by Birdie Brown. The image was stamped onto water color paper then colored with Tombow markers and blended.  I love the control and ease of coloring with the Tombow markers!  My newest go-to coloring medium.   The images were die cut with the coordinating set.  The Scribble Rose Overlay die-namic is behind the image.  I finished the card with a sentiment from Greetings Galore and a few enamel dots. Gerda Steiner Share Your Designs Challenge - June

Gerda Steiner hosts a monthly Anything Goes challenge on their blog.  I'm sharing a little summer themed inspiration featuring a digital image from the shop called You are Beary Sweet! I started by printing the digital image onto Stampin' Up! Whisper White card stock.  The bear was colored with Copic Markers then shaded with Prismacolor pencils and finally charcoal pencil.  I fussy cut the image and layered onto papers from Jillibean Soup Watermelon Gazpacho Soup paper pad.  A die cut Hello from MFT and stars finish the card. SugarPea Mix It Up Challenge #56

I'm sharing a card this morning for the current Mix It Up Challenge at SugarPea Designs.  I began by using the sketch as inspiration, but I realized while posting that the colors were used as well!    I started by coloring the camper and accessories from RV There Yet? with Copic Markers then die cutting.  I {LOVE} this set and it's perfect for summer adventures!  The starry sky background is from SugarPea Designs Happy Camper paper pad .  The variety in this pad coordinates perfectly with the camper set! Art Impressions Challenge #258 Desktop Decor

The current challenge at Art Impressions is Desktop Decor .  I decided to use a recycled acrylic photo frame to make a fun desk calendar. I started by stamping the AI Garden Wagon Mini Set onto watercolor paper with Versafine ink.  The wagon was colored with Tombow markers and blended.  The flowers and grass were stamped with Tim Holtz Distress Inks - Mowed Lawn, Seedless Preserves and Wilted Violet.  The background was sponged with a cloud die and Salty Ocean distress ink. A gingham ribbon from Gina K and sentiment from Verve Stamps finish the project.  At year end, this can also become a desktop photo frame!  A small photo can slide into the frame when the calendar is removed. Clean and Simple Father's Day

I completed my final Father's Day card tonight!  I pulled out an older Memory Box set called BBQ Penguin for my card.  The penguin and grill were both heat embossed with CTMH black powder.  The hat was paper pieced with scrap paper in my stash. The background was sponged with Memento Bamboo Leaves and Bahama Blue inks.  I kept the card clean and simple without embellishments for easy mailing. Good morning!  I'm stopping in with a quick post for the current Mo Manning Challenge - Anything Goes with the option of For the Boys/Guys .   I'm finishing up Father's Day cards and Mo's Fishing image is perfect for all of the fishermen in my family.  I started by cropping the image and printing onto Stampin' Up Whisper White card stock.  I have been enjoying the effect of "stamping off the edge" with images.  It was colored with Copic Markers.  Memento ink has been sponged on the background.  I couldn't resist adding a little fish at the bottom from Art Impressions. I'm sharing with this week's sketch challenge at My Favorite Things.  I pulled out the Birdie Brown Puddle Jumper and Rain or Shine sets with MFT Citrus designer paper pad. The image was colored with Copic Markers and fussy cut.  The clouds and puddle were fussy cut and I applied Wink of Stella for shimmer. The image was applied with dimension tape.  Although the sketch was a little challenging I'm happy with the end result! Art Impressions Challenge: #257 Furry Friends

I'm joining the current Furry Friends challenge at Art Impressions with this fun Get Well card.  I never seem to have a Get Well card when I need one, so this was a great chance to add to my stash using the AI Doggy Kisses set. Recently, I have been enjoying my Tombow markers on watercolor paper.  So, I pulled them out and blended for a quick scene.  The card base was stamped with images from the same set in Versamark ink.  A few Stampin' Up! candy dots finish the card. Unity June Challenge - Favorite Unity Animals

I couldn't resist pulling out one of the newer Unity stamps sets to join the current Unity Animal June Challenge .  This sweet image is from the Hoppy & Hedgie set by Lisa Glanz.  The yummy red rubber stamps perfectly! The rabbit image was stamped onto water color paper with Versafine Tuxedo black ink.  I then colored and blended with Tombow markers.  The sky was sponged using Memento ink and a cloud die cut.  I pulled out Written in the Clouds (Retired) for the card base.  It was stamped with Versamark ink. I shared a card with the hedgie image earlier this week.  It was so fun to create as well!   I would like to share my card with the following: Simon Says Stamp Wednesday:  Anything Goes Word Art Wednesday: Anything Goes #388 - #389   Aud Sentiments Challenge:  #228 Nature and a Sentiment 2 Crafty Critter Crazies:  #27 Anything Goes with a Critter
