Stampin' In Alaska

  I'm sharing a fun Get Well card for the current challenge at House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge. The image was colored with Prisma color pencils.  While cleaning my craft room I came across this yummy floral paper and ribbon.  I felt like it coordinated perfectly with the image.  To finish, I added a few gems and a doily.   The current Penny Black Saturday Challenge is On The Farm .  This is an older (2006) wood mount stamp from my stash called Spinning A Yarn.  The image was stamped onto water color paper and colored with Tombow markers.  It was layered onto a variety of designer papers from the Carta Bella Farm to Table paper pad.  A few enamel dots finish the card. I used baker's twine for the ball of yarn with this image a few years ago.  You can see it HERE .   I'm joining the current challenge at Di's Digi Challenge blog featuring the adorable Birdbath digital image.  I was a lucky challenge winner recently and this is one of the images I chose.  It has such a fun feel of Spring, don't you think? The image was printed onto X-Press It card stock and colored with Copic Markers.  I'm currently "destashing" my craftroom and came across this adorable floral paper in my stash.  The fabric floral ribbon and metal leaf embellishments were also discovered in bins.  At the last minute, I grabbed the doily for extra texture.  The final card size is 5.5 square.   I'm joining the Paper Shelter Challenge with the optional twist of Alter It!  My clean and simple (CAS) design features The Paper Shelter The Most Adorable Panda digital image. One of my favorite features of digital images is sizing.  I used MS Word to resize the B&W lined digital image and cropped it.  It was printed onto Stampin' Up! Crumb Cake card stock and colored with Prismacolor pencils.  The sentiment is from a digital set by Beccy Muir.   I'm joining the current Art Impressions Challenge to CASE that Card !  My card features AI stamps from their Bird Brain line.  Birdie and Stay in Your Nest were both retired in 2018.  I love this big chicken and he's perfect for so many occasions.  Papers are from Graphic45 Farmhouse and the chicken wire embossing folder is Cuttlebug.  Cheese cloth and enamel dots complete the 5.5 square card. The Paper Shelter Challenge is now Anything Goes with a weekly optional twist.  My card features the adorable Vintage Seamstress pre-colored image and the option of a bow. I started with a measuring tape embossed panel.  The image was die cut and layered onto several circle dies from my stash which I embossed with different folders.  I found a piece of yummy coordinating ribbon in my stash as well.  The card was finished with enamel dots and a sentiment from Hero Arts.
