Stampin' In Alaska

  I'm joining this week's sketch challenge at My Favorite Things.  I chose to create a tag this week featuring New Best Friend. The image was colored with Copic Markers and fussy cut.  The mixed media tag started by using decofoil transfer gel duo and a star stencil.  Once dried I ran it through my Cuddlebug with a foil sheet.  White acrylic paint was splattered then designer papers applied.  An organdy ribbon finishes the tag.   I am joining Day 5 of the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop with a coffee themed digital image from Di's Digi Stamps.  The image was colored with Copic Markers. The base layer was created with acrylic ink and a Gelli Plate.  A Brutus Monroe deco foil sheet was layered then the digital image.  A birthday sentiment from Stampin' Up finishes the card. This week I needed a few Holiday cards for co-workers.  I've had so much fun creating with my Gina K. Designs Foil-Mates and Fancy Foils.  I love the professional finish that the ThermoWeb products provide. The sentiment is from the Gina K. Holiday Cheer Foil-Mates pack.  I ran it through my Scotch brand laminator with  Gina K. Fancy Foils .   Glittering Green fancy foils were used on the foil mates.  Stampin' Up organdy ribbon and pink rhinestones finish the card. Designs Foil-Mates and Fancy Foils.  I love the professional finish that the ThermoWeb products provide.  For my shaker card I used the negative left from the Fancy Foil.  I really like how this turned out! The sentiment is from the Gina K. Holiday Cheer Foil-Mates pack.  I ran it through my Scotch brand laminator with  Gina K. Turquoise Sea Fancy Foils . I chose to use the Ornamental Holiday Foil-Mates for the card base.  It was also foiled with Turquoise Sea. I chose to use the Ornamental Holiday Foil-Mates for the card base.  It was also foiled with Sparkling Silver.  Burgandy card stock from Gina K. and silver cord from Stampin' Up! finish the card. Happy Monday!  I hope everyone had a great weekend and maybe got a little crafty.   Gerda Steiner hosts a monthly progressive challenge with a new adorable image.  This month we were provided with this sweet Panda in Love digital image.  If you are new to the challenge but want to join the fun you can purchase the image here .  Create something fun using the image, post it on the challenge blog and next month you will receive the challenge image free.  How fun is that?? My card started by printing the digital image onto Stampin' Up! Whisper White Cardstock and coloring with Spectrum Noir and Copic Markers.  The current sketch from My Favorite Things was used as well. The base panel was created using the new Valentine Foil Mates from Gina K.  I LOVE this new line and such a fun technique!  It's so simple as well.  I simply layered a trimmed piece of deco foil onto the Foil Mate print of my choice.  The layers...

Thanks so much for all of you who participating in the week long Holiday Chaos challenge over at Catch the Bug!  Be sure to check the blog for all of the winners. Today the design team is back with a new weekly challenge - Naked Stamping - No coloring but you can use colored ink.  My shaker card began by printing the Bugaboo Coffee Words Cup image onto vellum.   It's hard to see in the picture, but the top panel was dry embossed with a snowflake folder.   The border was created using Gina K Designs Fancy Foils from Therm O Web.  I love the added sparkle that the foil provides and it is SO easy!   To finish the card I added Gina K Designs Gingham Fancy Ribbon and snowflake brad.
