Pajama Crafter Stamps - Closer to Extinction

I'm so excited to be joining the Pajama Crafter Stamps design team next month!  I couldn't resist celebrating by creating a fun scenic birthday card with the Closer to Extinction set from Pajama Crafter Stamps. The image was stamped onto X-Press Cardstock, colored with Copic markers and fussy cut.  A retired die from Memory Box called Cityscape Nightline was used for the border.  The birthday sentiment is Pajama Crafter Stamps Mix & Match Celebration Sentiments .  I picked up the cloudy designer paper at Hobby Lobby during one of my recent trips. Word Art Wednesday - Ephesians 3:16-19

It's time for a new bi-weekly challenge at Word Art Wednesday .  We have a lovely free digital Scripture word art from Karen Murray this week from Ephesians 3:16-19. As always you are never required to use the Scripture but you're free to download it.  Simply right click on the image and select "save as".   We would love to see your crafty, family-friendly projects.  You may link up to five (5) projects each week for a total of ten (10) entries per two-week challenge.  The more you enter, the more you increase your odds of winning.   We are blessed to welcome a new sponsor this week.  Divinity Designs offers Christian themed products for all of your crafty projects.  They are generously offering a $25 gift certificate to one lucky winner.  Please check out their online shop Divinity Designs. My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge #652

I just received the retired MFT You're Super set by Birdie Brown from a Stamping Swap group.  I couldn't wait to ink up this sweet image.  The image was stamped, wet embossed and colored with alcohol inks then fussy cut.   I pulled out a retired MFT stencil - Ray of Light - and used distress inks for the sky.  A Memory Box Cityscape Nightline die and gems finish the card. Art Impressions Challenge #354 Embossing

The current challenge at Art Impressions is embossing - dry or wet.  My card features a set from the AI Laugh Lines called Never Too Old Laugh Lines .  I love Bonnie's people images... you can almost hear this sassy lady saying "Happy 29th Birthday... from your 110lb friend!"  The image was stamped onto X-press It card stock and embossed with clear embossing powder.  The embossed image was colored with alcohol markers and fussy cut. The image was adhered with foam tape to a dry embossed page using a Cuttlebug numbers emboss folder.  She has been framed with a Stylish Rectangle Trio die cut from Memory Box.  I finished the card simply with a sentiment from the same set. HMFMC # 385 Anything Goes Option Theme Use a Die

Are you looking forward to Spring weather?  In my yard, the first thing to pop through the soil are the lovely daffodils.  I know Spring is close when the green growth peeks through.   The current House Mouse and Friends challenge has an optional theme of dies.  I combined a Memory Box Spring Border die with this sweet House-Mouse Designs Feed and Seed stamp from 2005.  I was very fortunate to find a set of 7 older House-Mouse Design wooden stamps at my local thrift store.  What a find!  And the red rubber appeared to have never seen ink. The image was colored with Copic markers and die cut with a Wonky Stitched die.  Memory Box Puffy Clouds die and sentiment finish the card.   Card stock:  Colorbok polkadot, Stampin' Up! Lovely Lilac, Green Galore, Daffodil Yellow and Creamy Caramel. Di's Digi Design: Circles Challenge

I couldn't resist joining the current Circles Challenge at Di's Digi this week.  It was so much fun to color Di's adorable Bubble and Squeak image.  It was colored with Copic markers and layered onto Basic Grey papers from my stash. The card includes lots of circles with bubble gems and the Loopy Rings die from Memory Box. Stay Crafty With a Blog Named Hero: February Challenge - Animal Crackers

I'm joining the current Hero Arts Challenge with the March 2017 Monthly Hero Kit.  I recently order the A2 Pop Up card die from Echo Park.  This is my first card and it was really fun to create. The floral border is an older die from Memory Box called Spring Border.  I stamped and die cut the rabbit and duck from the Hero Arts Kit.  They were colored with Copic Markers and adhered to the floral border.   The box will lay flat for mailing in an A2 envelope.  It is a little thick with all of the designer paper panels.   This will be fun to experiment using different stamps and dies!  Thanks for stopping by to take a peek.
