Stampin' In Alaska

  This month Hero Arts is hosting a challenge of rainbows.  I pulled out the May 2020 My Monthly Hero Kit and made a fun rainbow background.  The image was stamped repeatedly then colored with Tombow markers.  I added Stickles for a touch of dimension and sparkle.  I finished with a coordinating sentiment from the kit and a couple of enamel dots.   I'm playing along with a couple of Hero Arts challenges tonight featuring their May Kit of the Month, Water Flow slimline stencil and Sea You set PLUS a fun reef die.   I started the card base with sponging various blue distress inks using the Water Flow Slimline Stencil.  The reef die was cut from Hero Arts cardstock.  The fish and starfish were stamped onto a scrap of watercolor paper which has been splattered with blue inks. I LOVE how this turned out!  What's more fun than enjoying the ocean in the Sun! I'm sharing a clean and simple card with a couple of challenges.  The current Hero Arts challenge is One Layer Cards.  I have combined my one layer card with the Made In Minutes challenge at AAA Cards. My card features the May 2020 Monthly Kit from Hero Arts.  It is such a fun set with so many great accessories.  How could I resist?! The image was colored with Prismacolor pencils and Tombow markers.  I highlighted the clouds with the decobrush included with the kit.  This was my first attempt and they are fun!
