Sassy Cheryl Show Me #98

I'm back again to share with Sassy Cheryl and all of the "Sassettes".   I was the lucky winner last week and picked up one of the new Sassy Cheryl digital images.  You could be the lucky winner this week by just sharing a post of what's going on in your area of the world.  Check out the details HERE . This week I'm sharing a few photos from my recent trip to visit with family.  We drove down to Bentonville, AR to the new Crystal Bridges Museum .  The museum is sponsored by Wal-mart and contains lots of fabulous artwork.  Below are a couple of my favorites: Nick Cave Sound Suit 2010 There were also galleries full of traditional/classical art.  I took these photos in the Contemporary gallery.  It was a fun experience and the architecture of the museum was amazing. Thanks for stopping by and taking a closer look!  Hope you are having a fabulous and creative week!

SNSDC #77 - Use Stitching on your project

It's Friday and time for another Sweet 'n Sassy Digi Challenge !  This week the challenge is to use stitching, real or faux, on your project. I used " Rhubarbs Punkins digital Stamp "  by Sweet 'n Sassy.   Rhubarb and his wagon of punkins were colored with Prismacolor pencils and baby oil. A layer of Tim Holtz glossy accents was added to the punkins.  I added brads and a ribbon slide from a Stampin' Up! Hodgepodge Hardware collection.  The designer papers are from We R Memory Keepers paper pad. Just a few things to keep in mind as you play.... Please remember to use digital images ONLY for the challenge. ~You don't have to use SNS digi images to play along but we sure do love when you do! ~Please share a link to your creation using the Linky feature at the end of this post. SNSDC #75 - Appreciation

Welcome to another Sweet 'n Sassy Digi Challenge ! This week's challenge is to make a card of Appreciation using a favorite item you've been hoarding in your stash (the card can be for anyone - pastor, teacher, friend, mentor, family, etc.)  I've used Sweet 'n Sassy digital image " Ewe Mean the World ".  I decided this was a fun image to try a twisted circular easel card .  It was easy to make using Beate's tutorial on Splitcoaststampers.  The digital image was paper pieced and the lamb's head was popped up on dimension foam.  I used a Martha Stewart border punch for the fence and my "hoarded" item is the pink pearls. I hope you get a chance to play along this week.  Be sure to check out the details HERE and stop by the other design team members for more fabulous inspiration.

Sassy Cheryl Show Me #94

The week is quickly getting away from me and I wanted to post a quick "Show Me" for Sassy Cheryl.  If you haven't played along, check the details HERE .  It's super easy and you might even win a free Sassy Cheryl digital image. I thought I would share a photo collage that I created recently on Muzy.com.  It was super easy and I really liked how it turned out.  Fall is definitely here and snow is covering the mountain tops, but I'm already looking forward to next summer's adventures.  Hope you are having a great week!  Thanks for stopping by for a look!

Can You Digi It? - Challenge 20 - Creepy & Kooky

This week's Can You Digi It? Challenge is to create something "Creepy & Kooky".  I've used Mike Eustis' cute Monster image. I created my sentiment in Microsoft Word and layered it with the image.   The image was colored with Copic Markers and layered with Stampin' Up!  Pumpkin Pie and Lovely Lilac card stock. Be sure to check out the design team creations and check all of the details of the challenge HERE . Hope you get a chance to play along with our "Creepy & Kooky" challenge this week!

SNSDC74 - Tic Tac Toe and Great News!

It's Friday and time for another Sweet 'n Sassy digital challenge !   This week we have been asked to chose from the items on the Tic-Tac-Toe game board below. Use 3 items which make either horizontal, vertical, or diagonal lines across the board.  It's OK to use more than just 3 but at least 3 have to be in a line.  Please let us know in your description which three you chose. Below is my card using Glitter, Flowers and Buttons: I created my card using " Autumn Collage " from the Sweet 'n Sassy digital shop.  I printed the image on Stampin' Up glossy cardstock then brayered over the image with Kaleidacolor Autumn Leaves ink pad.  The lace flowers were spritzed with Tsukineko Walnut Ink to get a distressed color.   I used this week's Sweet Stop sketch for the card. And lastly, I mentioned a couple of weeks ago that I had exciting news to share.  I was a guest designer for Sweet 'n Sassy Digi's last month.  I have ...

Sassy Cheryl Show Me #93

I'm posting quickly before work this morning to share with the Sassy Cheryl "Show me" challenge.  The week has gotten away from me and today is the deadline for the fun!!  As many of you know, the 3rd annual Hope You Can Cling To challenges began on Splitcoast Stampers Monday morning.  It's a month long challenge with all of the projects/cards going to the MD Anderson Cancer center in Texas.  The donated cards are made available to patients and their families.  Check the details HERE and maybe you'll have a chance to play along this month! So, this morning I am sharing a couple of the cards I have created so far this week.  You may also see a glimpse of a new goodie I got in the mail last night.  I was the lucky winner of a recent challenge on " There She Goes " blog!!  I can't wait to ink up these cute little critters!  Thanks for stopping in for a closer look!  Hope you're having a great week!

Jellypark Friends Friday Challenge - Thank You

I was recently introduced to the Jellypark digital images.  I was immediately drawn to the carefree, fun images on the website and in the store.  This week's Jellypark Challenge blog   is  celebrating World Gratitude Day, by creating a thank you card or gift to give to someone special . Here is the Thank You card that I created using " Follow Me ".   It's adorable and 100% of the proceeds are donated to a children's hospice. The image was colored with chalks using a blender pen.  This was my first time coloring with chalks in this way and I really like the finished look.  I wanted to focus on the image so all of the layers were dry embossed then mounted on coordinating colors of cardstock. I really enjoyed playing along this week!  Thanks for stopping by to take a closer look.
