Stampin' In Alaska

  I'm joining the current House Mouse and Friends Challenge with a brightly colored laundry scene!  I recently received the new release from Stampendous called Doing Laundry.  I LOVE this sweet spring scene ... hanging laundry is something that I still do! The image was colored with Alcohol inks. I masked the cloudy sky with a scallop die and sponged with Memento ink.  A sentiment from Memory Box finishes the card.   Hero Arts recently released their 2021 Catalogue products.  I saw a sneak peek of the new Lily Pond HeroScape and it went onto on Wish List!   I love how you can easily create a fun scene with all of the HeroScape sets.  This one is no exception! I started by creating a blended distress ink "sky" base panel.  I used my Misti to create the lily pond scene. Various Tim Holtz distress inks were used:  Mermaid Lagoon for the water, Mowed Lawn & Forest Moss for the lily pads, Memento Lulu Lavender and Lilac Posies for the flowers.   I recently came across some older Gina K. stamp sets in my craft room.   One of my crafty goals for the year is to use my older images in a new way.  The images and sentiments in the Sent With Love StampTV Kit are perfect for the February Challenge - Love in the Air. I started by blending distress inks then heat embossed the floral image.  A few sequins and a coordinating sentiment finish the card. This will be going to my aunt and uncle who are celebrating 50 plus years of marriage this month!  Big Congrats! I would like to share my card with the following: Gina K.   I couldn't resist creating one more card for the current AAA Cards challenge - One Corner + a scene.  I came across this older set from Stampin' Up called Scene in A Garden.  The little row of rubber boots is so adorable.   One of my favorite techniques is coloring with my Prismacolor pencils on kraft card stock.  In keeping with the CAS theme, I kept my one layer card very clean and simple with a fun stenciled background.   The current Art Impressions challenge #301 is celebrating our creativity in 2020.  We have been asked to either repost a favorite AI creation or create with a favorite set from 2020.  My card features the AI Love Birds set .  You can find my original post from January 2020 Here .  This card went to our Pastor and his wife for this Anniversary last year.

  I'm joining the current challenge at Di's Digi which is to include one or more hearts. My card features a freebie that Di offered called Gday Izzy.  It was colored with Copic Markers and fussy cut. A Tim Holtz Falling Hearts die was used with Stampin' Up Flirty Flamingo for the card base panel.  I placed a sheet of light turquoise glimmer foil behind the panel for shimmer.  A sentiment from Hero Arts and a circle die from my stash finish the card.   I'm sharing a card with a couple of challenges featuring the newest Hero Arts Kit.  This tropical themed kit is full of fun images and sentiments.   I started by creating the water using Hero Arts Sea and Sky Stencil and Danube Blue Memento Ink.  The sky was blended with various distress inks.  I chose a few images from the kit for my scene, colored with Copic markers and die cut.     I finished the scene with a coordinating sentiment from the February MMH kit.  Finally, I layered the clean and simple design onto Gina K Passionate Pink cardstock for a pop of color.  I would like to share my card with the following:  A Blog Named Hero: February Anything Goes AAA Cards #183 One Corner + Create A Scene Word Art Wednesday:  Anything Goes #477 - #478 Cute Card Thursday: #672 Anything Goes

  I'm joining the current Anything Goes Challenge at House-Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge.  My card features an older House Mouse stamp called Stamp A Kiss. The image was colored with Copic Markers then die cut.  Designer papers are from Co'ordinations and the embossed panel was in my stash.  A few sequins finish the card.  I have omitted a sentiment to be added when an occasion arises.
