Art Impressions - Bonnie's Birthday Challenge #355

This week I'm sharing a clean and simple birthday card along with Bonnie's Birthday Challenge.  Happy Birthday Bonnie! I took a little artistic liberty with the Art Impressions 5113 Pand-tastic Set this week.  The lazy little bear image is so adorable and I decided he could also be a brown bear.  Of course, the brown bear is a little more common in my area of the country! Both the bear and a sentiment from AI Chocolate Therapy set were stamped with VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink.  The bear was colored with Copic Markers E53 Raw Silk, E33 Sand and E35 Chamois.  The panel was layered onto designer paper from Pink Paislee Switchboard paper pad and a black card stock base.  A few enamel dots finish the 4. 5 inch square card. I hope you will join the current birthday challenge!  If you would like to send Bonnie a Birthday wish you can mail your card here... Art Impressions Challenge #221 - Tag It!

I had a few minutes to play today with the current challenge over at Art Impressions .  We were asked to  make a tag... and I chose to create a birthday bottle gift tag. (Who doesn't love to receive Bath & Body Works goodies?) My tag began with cutting the Spellbinder  Long Classic Rectangle and scoring about half way.  I then used a Spellbinder circle die for the top to slide over the soap pump.  The cake image from AI's Chocolate Therapy was colored with Copic Markers.  Stickles were  added to the candle flame.  Brown liquid applique was added to the cake icing. I fussy cut the image and layered onto a doily which was sprayed with dylusions ink spray and distress ink. Sequins and bakers twine finish the tag.  I'm sharing my tag with the following: Art Impressions Challenge:  #221 Tag It  Word Art Wednesday: Anything Goes #308-#309 Through the Craft Room Door:...
