Art Impressions Challenge - April Showers

I'm joining the current April Showers Challenge at Art Impressions.  The AI Design Team is looking for crafty projects using rain, rainbows, rainboots, umbrellas, clouds, puddles etc! After searching through my somewhat extensive AI stamp collection I couldn't believe there were no umbrellas, rainboots or rainbows to be found.  But I can always create with clouds! I pulled out a favorite (now retired) AI set - His & Hers Gardeners.  The gardner image was colored with Copic Markers and fussy cut.  It was layered onto cloudy designer paper from Bo Bunny.  The sentiment, fence die and cornstalk die are from My Favorite Things. Bugaboo Birthday Bash Challenge Week

Welcome to day 5 and 6 of the Bugaboo Birthday Bash Challenge Week !  This week has been so much fun for me.  I am new to Bugaboo and the images are so humorous and fun.  Tonight's post uses my very first Bugaboo image.  I spied this image on Splitcoast a few months ago and knew bought it immediately.  It is SO perfect for me and my cooking style! This card uses "JJ Cook" and is for the Wednesday challenge to create something humorous.  The image was colored with Copic Markers.  The sketch and color combo are both from this week's Splitcoast challenges. The next card is for Thursday's masculine challenge "Let's hear it for the boys".  I found this adorable moose image in the dollar bin and couldn't resist!   The moose image was colored with Prismacolor pencils and blended with baby oil.  It has been fussy cut and layered on designer papers from the Bo Bunny Camp-a-lot collection.  A machine stitched border and twine w...

SNSDC87 - Use a Coffee, tea or hot cooca image

Wow, can you believe that it's Friday already?  And we are almost half way through January! It's time for a new Sweet 'n Sassy Digi Challenge.   This week we are challenging you to use an image with a hot beverage included - coffee (my personal favorite!), tea or hot cocoa.  I have used the sweet Kiwi Koala's Cuppa image for my card.  The sentiment is from the " Hot Cocoa Sentiments " set. The image was colored with Copic Markers and Glossy Accents was added to the cup.  While surfing the web recently I found a sample using this fabulous card layout.  I love the tag border and it was a great way to use some of those scraps laying on my desk.  The image was combined with designer papers from the Bo Bonny Snow Day Paper pad collection. Please remember to use digital images ONLY for the challenge.  You don't have to use SNS digi images to play along but we sure do love when you do!   When uploading to online gall...
