HMFMC #413 Anything Goes Option Use a Stencil

I'm joining the current House-Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge with the Option to use a stencil.  My card features House-Mouse Designs Bursting with Excitement (2003 Stampabilities). The image was stamped onto Hero Arts Water Color paper.  It was water colored and die cut with a wonky stitched die.  Both the image panel and card base were stenciled with Memento Blue Danube ink.  Stampin' Up! Bakers Twine and birthday sentiment from Colorado Craft Company finish the card. I would like to share my card with the following: HMFMC #413 Anything Goes Option Use a Stencil All Sorts Challenge:  Week 778 Use a Stencil Simon Says Stamp Wednesday:  Anything Goes Simon Says Stamp Monday:  It's Up in the Air    Woodblock Wednesday:  April Anything Goes (with a Woodblock stamp)

Have you taken advantage of Unity's fabulous year end sale yet? Of course I couldn't pass it up! I received my order this weekend and couldn't wait to play along with this week's Unity Blog Hop . I just recently noticed this lovely  Itty Bitty scripture stamp by Joslyn Nielson. My Strength & Song, Lord The base panel was dry embossed with a musical score folder from Cuttlebug. Unity - Friday Friends with Flair and {be Inspired} Challenges

Happy Friday! It's been a long week for me. I was so glad to come home  and have some crafty time tonight. Of course, I had to play along with Unity's Friends with Flair today. My card features  Camera Ready SMAK 2/14 and Happy Happy Anniversary I used the emboss resist technique with the image from Camera Ready . The entire panel was then sponged with Rose Bud and Angel Pink Memento inks.  A few gems and it was done! The card size is 6.5 by 3.5. It's always nice to have an extra Anniversary card on hand. Of course, my layout inspiration came from this month's Unity {be Inspired} sketch : Be sure to check out the fabulous sales going on at Unity this weekend. It's Angela's birthday and she's celebrating big! Don't forget to leave a comment for your chance at randomly winning a fabulous Unity Prize. Thanks for stopping by! The Sweet Stop Sketch #212

It's finally Saturday and time for another fabulous sketch from The Sweet Stop !  I have to tell you a secret.... Sketch Challenges are my all time favorite.  Here's what I came up with using this week's sketch and a Sweet 'n Sassy clear stamp set called " Nature Silhouettes 2 ".  The set also have a matching die that you can view HERE .  The main panel was sponged with various Memento inks then the silhouette image stamped with Versafine Tuxedo Black ink.  The border die was cut with Spellbinder Inverted Scalloped Circles.  The sentment is from Sweet 'n Sassy's Precious Poppies clear stamp set.  The sentiment is actually on two lines, but I used a Tombow marker to ink the words individually to accommodate my thin panel.  The finished card is 4.25 square which seems to be my favorite size to work with right now. Here's a peek at this week's sketch: Just a few things to keep in mind as you play.... -You do NOT ...

Mo's Challenge #149 - Distressing

This week's challenge on the Mo Manning Challenge blog is "Distressing".  I colored this sweet Mo Manning digital image called " Tom & Tilly ".  I began by using shades of brown with my Copic Markers to get a sepia effect.  At the end I colored the floral bouquet and sponged the sunset using Memento inks. Here's what I came up with: In keeping with the challenge, I distressed the image panel and inked it with Memento inks.  I also distressed the edge of the brown panel then layered on an embossed base.  I wanted to keep the base simple so as not to detract from the image. Thanks for stopping by to take a look!
