Stampin' In Alaska

  I'm joining the current challenge at Di's Digi Challenge blog with a fun mixed media tag using stash items.  My project features Di's Dog Gone Cutie Pals digital image. The digital image was water colored and fussy cut.  I've used a variety of items from my stash starting with a Gelli Print tag.  A small piece of mesh is layered onto the tag then a vintage View-Master Reel was added as a base for the cute trio.  Ribbon, wood heart, DIY enamel dot and ticket were all items laying on my craft desk.   Happy Friday!  I hope everyone gets a little crafty time this weekend. I'm joining the current challenge at Di's Digi -  Animals Acting Like Humans . There are so many fun images in Di's Etsy Shop that are perfect for this week's theme.  I was a recent challenge winner at Di's and chose this cutie called Buddy in the Garden .  Be sure to check him out while he's on sale! My card was printed onto X-Press It card stock and colored with Copic Markers.  I tried a "new to me" technique by using various brown ink and randomly applying it in dots.  In retrospect, I should have used a darker base color.  But live and learn! The image was die cut with Spellbinders Petite Large Oval and layered onto an oval lacey cross stitch cloth.  It has been sitting on my craft desk for months waiting for the right project!  A few paper flowers and Stampin' Up Designer Paper finish the card.   I'm joining the current challenge at Di' Digi Design Challenge to add a sentiment.  My card features the adorable digital image Bluebell Mice from Di's Etsy Shop. The image was printed onto X-Press It card stock and colored with Prismacolor pencils and Copic Markers.  It was layered onto papers from Stampin' Up! with a simple gingham ribbon from my stash.  The sentiment is from Creative Worship Stamps With Love Clear Stamp Set .   This week's challenge at Di's Digi Design is Load on the Flowers .  My floral card features the adorable Racoon Rose digital image from Di's Etsy Shop. The image was printed onto X-Press It card stock and colored with Copic Markers then fussy cut.  The designer paper is from Stampin' Up!, flowers, paper lace and vellum die cuts were in my stash. This card will be going out next month to one of the special Mom's in my family.   I'm joining the current challenge at Di's Digi Design Challenge to use 2 or more Pattern Papers.  I was recently a lucky challenge winner at Di's.  Cute Tulip Bunny was one of the free images I chose. The digital image was printed onto X-Press It card stock and colored with Copic Markers.  The image was layered onto floral designer papers from Stampin' Up!  Coffee dyed paper lace and floral embellishments finish the 5.5 square card.
