This week's From the Heart sketch challenge is a really fun design. I went through a couple of design ideas before settling on this one. My clean and simple version features the adorable Flappy Birthday Birdbrain  I started by digitally cropping the image and printed onto Gina K Pure Luxury card stock. It's no secret... I Love sketch Challenges. From the Heart Stamps sponsors a fun sketch (with a twist) each week. It's also no secret that I Love the Birdbrain line at FTHS. I recently added the adorable No Snow Birdbrain to my stash. To further "protest winter" I've used bright colors to offset the winter drabs.  I'm considering the snow piles as  our optional twist to include nature. This week's From the Heart sketch challenge   is a really fun one and the twist is  to create a circle shaped card. I tried to combine both on my card this week which features the adorable FTHS set Inner Tube Birdbrain   I had a lot of fun putting together this shaped card. I used a template to create the sun shaped card. The wave die is from The Cat's Pajamas and the digital image was colored with Copic Markers, fussy cut and adhered with foam tape.  I added yellow Stickles to the sun rays for extra dimension. I'm stopping in to share a fun and cute card for this week's i {heart} card sketches and the twist this week is Cute, Cute, Cute. My card features the adorable From the Heart Stamp set Birdbrain Needs Coffee This set is SO me! I love his comical expression and all of the sentiments in this set are perfect. I printed the image onto Stampin' Up Whisper White card stock and colored using Copic Markers. The shading was done using a charcoal pencil.
