  I'm getting a head start on my Mother's Day cards with this adorable Daffodil Delivery digital image from Di's Digi Designs.  You can find an updated version in Di's Etsy shop HERE . The image was printed onto X-Press It card stock and colored with Copic Markers.  The image and frame panel were die cut with Spellbinders Oval dies then layered onto designer paper from Graphic45.   The Mother's Day sentiment is from Hero Arts and was wet embossed on vellum then adhered.  I finished the A2 size card with coordinating baker's twine.   I'm joining the current challenge at Di's Digi Challenge blog with a fun mixed media tag using stash items.  My project features Di's Dog Gone Cutie Pals digital image. The digital image was water colored and fussy cut.  I've used a variety of items from my stash starting with a Gelli Print tag.  A small piece of mesh is layered onto the tag then a vintage View-Master Reel was added as a base for the cute trio.  Ribbon, wood heart, DIY enamel dot and ticket were all items laying on my craft desk.   Happy Friday!  I hope everyone gets a little crafty time this weekend. I'm joining the current challenge at Di's Digi -  Animals Acting Like Humans . There are so many fun images in Di's Etsy Shop that are perfect for this week's theme.  I was a recent challenge winner at Di's and chose this cutie called Buddy in the Garden .  Be sure to check him out while he's on sale! My card was printed onto X-Press It card stock and colored with Copic Markers.  I tried a "new to me" technique by using various brown ink and randomly applying it in dots.  In retrospect, I should have used a darker base color.  But live and learn! The image was die cut with Spellbinders Petite Large Oval and layered onto an oval lacey cross stitch cloth.  It has been sitting on my craft desk for months waiting for the right project!  A few paper flowers and Stampin' Up Designer Paper finish the card.   This week's challenge at Di's Digi Design is Load on the Flowers .  My floral card features the adorable Racoon Rose digital image from Di's Etsy Shop.   I'm joining the current challenge at Di's Digi Challenge blog featuring the adorable Birdbath digital image.  I was a lucky challenge winner recently and this is one of the images I chose.  It has such a fun feel of Spring, don't you think? The image was printed onto X-Press It card stock and colored with Copic Markers.  I'm currently "destashing" my craftroom and came across this adorable floral paper in my stash.  The fabric floral ribbon and metal leaf embellishments were also discovered in bins.  At the last minute, I grabbed the doily for extra texture.  The final card size is 5.5 square.   I'm back in the craft room after a winter break.  This is one of the sweet images that I colored during my vacation - Giraffe Scooter Fun .  You can find it, along with many other great images, in Di's Etsy Shop. The new challenge at Di's is Circles Everywhere.  After coloring the image was Copic Markers, it was die cut and a cloudy stencil was used for the background.  A little pebbly road was created as well. I pulled various papers together with dots & circles for this 5.5 square card.  The die cut numbers and sentiment were also in my stash.   The Fall colors and brisk winds have arrived in my area of the World.  Soon Alaska will see "termination" dust on the mountain tops announcing the soon arrival of winter.  BUT in my craft room I can create with bright colors and summer scenes! I'm sharing this bright summer themed card for Di's current challenge to use favorite colors.  The blue, pink and yellow are so bright and cheerful together!  Summer Kitty Fun is available in Di's new Etsy shop and best of all it's on sale.   I'm joining the current challenge at Di's Digi Design Challenge with a faux step card fold.  My card features the adorable Little Mermaid image from Di's online shop. The image was colored with Copic Markers and fussy cut. I created the faux step card using this pattern from The Stamp Camp website.  The designer paper is from my stash.  I cut a few of the turtles and fish from the paper and adhered with dimensional tape.  A wave gelli sticker and a few dew drops finish the card.   I'm joining the current clean and simple challenge at Di's Digi Design Blog.  This sweet Cherry Blossom Mice image was printed onto X-Press It card stock and colored with alcohol markers.  A couple of rectangle dies from Spellbinders was used to cut the image and mat.   I'm joining the current challenge at Di's Digi Design Challenge.  My card features Di's adorable Daisy Highland Cow digital image.   The image was printed onto X-Press It card stock and colored with alcohol markers.  Stickles were applied to all of the flowers for added dimension.  The image was then die cut with a negative die cut yellow frame.   Coordinating papers and stickers are from a retired Stampin' Up!  Simply Scappin' set - Just Delightful.  SU Certainly Celery card stock was used for the base.   I'm joining the current challenge at Di's Digi with her sweet new digital image called Ellie and Balloon.  The image was colored with alcohol markers and die cut.  It was layered onto several scrap pieces of designer paper from the Pebbles Garden Party paper pad. I have made it a personal challenge to use more designer paper and scraps with my cards.  I rarely through away scraps, but keep them in a small envelope with the paper pad.  You never know when that "just right" paper will be needed!
