This week's card sketch was perfect for this EASY and fun card using the new Tiki Hut Die-namics . This Die-namic went together so quickly! I love how it looks AND it comes with  a magnetic sheet for storage.  Woo-Hoo! I distressed the edges of the entire hut with Versafine Vintage Sepia ink. The sentiment and plumaria image are  from the Polynesia Paradise set. I can't wait to use both sets on my next scrapbook page with photos from our annual trip to Maui! This month's challenge at Great Impressions is to Add a Sentiment . I was the lucky winner of July's challenge and received a set of  sweet rubber stamps from Great Impressions. I'm featuring two of those  stamps on my project Baby Chick in Tulip and Peeking In   I stamped the image and sentiment on water color paper and used Tim Holtz distress reinkers to water color the image.  Wink of Stella was applied to the tulip. I haven't gotten an opportunity to play along with Paper Smooches for a few weeks. When I saw the fun sketch provided for this week's Paper Smooches SPARKS challenge I decided to pull out  Paper Smooches Sentiment Sampler and play along. I kept my design very clean and simple. To add some interest, I used Tim Holtz Distress Reinkers and splattered the card base  with a small paint brush. This will go into my stash for an upcoming masculine birthday. Happy Friday to all of my Unity Friends! Earlier this week Angela posted a fun challenge on Facebook asking that we use a digital image which she provided. I'm sharing also my card with this week's Friends With Flair. I printed the pig and sentiment of Stampin' Up Whisper White Cardstock.  The pig was colored with Copic Markers and Prismacolor pencils then fussy cut. I decided to create a little "farm scene" with a couple of dies from My Favorite Things. I am posting a fun clean and simple card for the current  I {heart} card sketches with a tWist hosted by From the Heart Stamps. The weekly sketch offers an alternative twist and this week is animals. I chose to focus on the twist and featured the adorable Fishing Birdbrain   The image was colored with Copic Markers and layered on paper from Bo Buny Camp-a-lot paper pad. I hope your week is going great! The Bugaboo Design Team is sharing a little inspiration with some of the older images from the shop. We hope it inspires you to dust off a few of the older Bugaboo images in your collection and play along! My card features the fun Make It Snappy - Birthday Fishes The image was colored with Copic Markers and glossy accents were added to the bubbles. I used Tim Holtz distress reinkers and a small paint brush to splatter the background. I really like the effect it created. Welcome to New Release Tuesday  at Catch the Bug ! Jodie has a whole new batch of fun images for you again this week! The design team got the  opportunity to play with the one of today's new images called You Light Up My Life I decided to crop the full image and feature two of the fun light bulbs.  Both were colored with Copic Markers and a layer of glossy accents  was applied.  After drying I popped them up with foam tape for dimension. A few month's ago I stumbled upon the  fun progressive  Stamp of the Month challenge at From The Heart Stamps. So, each month you create something with the Stamp of the Month. You can either purchase it or use the coupon code to get the image free with purchase. The fun part? Once you start using the SOM, you get the next month's stamp set FREE. Faith is doing a little snow in July theme and this sweet snowman is the August stamp of the month. Candy Cane for Snowman I went with a very clean and simple design. Happy Friday! It's Friends with Flair today at Unity! I'm sharing a quick card that I created in under 10 minutes for the Unity Facebook Release party on Tuesday. It was a fun challenge. My card features  Great Love and Miracles which is on sale now for $2.99 ! A very CAS design  with Tim Holtz distress reinkers splattered with a paint brush for the background. I really wanted to play along with the My Favorite Things Wednesday  Card Sketch Challenge this week..... (As usual, I'm running a little behind.) I received products from the newest release over the weekend, but thought another set would  work perfectly with this week's sketch. My card features the adorable set by Birdie Brown called The Whole Herd The square dies and chicken wire embossing folder are both from Cuttlebug. Happy Friday! I'm stopping in with this week's  Friends With Flair project. My cards feature the lovely  Unity stamp set You're Too Kind It's amazing how using one stamp with different colors and papers  can look so different! Both designer papers are from the Basic Grey Fiction paper pad.   The image was stamped with Versafine ink on water color paper then watercolored with Tim Holtz  distress reinkers. I keep my family supplied with Thank You cards. The Art Impressions Challenge was  perfectly timed for my crafting needs this go around. We have been challenged to  Create a Card Set . I am resupplying my sister with Thank You cards. My card set features  His & Hers Garden set sold exclusively at  Michael's stores. I kept the design very clean and simple for mailing purposes. Have you heard? From the Heart Stamps is currently having a Design Team call ! I'm submitting this card for the call. (Wish me Luck!) Have you seen the super fun sketch and tWist for the current challenge at From the Heart ??? I took the challenge and used the tWist which is watercoloring. My card features the adorable Mouse Balloon (currently found in the freebies section!) I {LOVE} how this clean and simple version came together using both the sketch and water color twist. The water color was splattered on both the image panel and background with a paint brush dipped  into Tim Holtz distress ink and flicked onto  the paper.  I love the random effect of this technique! The image was colored with Copic Markers and shaded with charcoal pencil. The base panel was dry embossed with a Cuttlebug spot  emboss folder.   A few strips of coordinating Washi Tape were added.
