Stampin' In Alaska

  The current House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge is to use touches of silver and/or gold.  I created a starry sky with a gelli plate galaxy print and this cute little House Mouse image from the Stampendous Spring Stamps set. The image was fussy cut and colored with Sepia Prismacolor pencil.  A Darice star emboss folder was used for the base.  The galaxy background gelli print was layered onto silver glitter paper with a moon image and gold star stickers.   I'm joining the current House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge .  The optional them is to add blue.  I bought this cling Stampendous House Mouse stamp last year.  Sadly, there is no name on the packaging or the stamp.  It does have a 2003 date with Ellen's name and HMCR53.  Please leave a comment if you know the name of this stamp. The image was colored with alcohol inks and die cut with a Scrappy Boy scalloped die.  I've layered it simply onto blue designer paper from my stash.   I'm joining the current House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge with the optional theme this week - More than ONE fold.  The inspiration for my fun fold (more than one fold) came from the blog of Shoregirl's Creations.  You can check out her beautiful design HERE .  My card features the adorable little mice from the Stampendous Mini Spring set.  This is such a fun set with a variety of mischievous mice!   The image was heat embossed and colored with Tombow markers.  The Spellbinders die cut was mounted onto a small square "hinge" allowing the image panel to unfold and reveal the inside sentiment. Designer papers are from Carta Bella.  Long retired Stampin' Up! Barely Banana and Regal Rose card stock accents the card/cardbase.   I'm joining the current challenge at House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge - Anything Goes with an Option of Birds.  I've used Berry Please (1999) House Mouse Designs with Stampa Rosa. I stamped on water color card stock and blended with Tombow Markers.  Papers are from my stash and a few gems finish the card.   The current challenge at House Mouse and Friends is to include the option of snow or glitter.  I had so much fun coloring this image called Bursting with Excitement. I colored the image with Tombow markers and Prismacolor pencils.  The sentiment is from Colorado Crafts.  I pulled out an old Cuddlebug embossing folder for the Happy Birthday background and layered several glittery scraps from my stash.   I'm joining the current House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge with a sweet mousey image from the Stampendous Spring Mini set. The image was stamped onto a Gelli Print and colored with Tombow Markers.  A retired Stampin' Up! French Script background was stamped with Moss Green Hero Arts ink over the Gelli print.  I finished with a few SU gems and an Anniversary die cut. The House Mouse image was perfect for the mini slimline design.  I have several Anniversaries coming up and this worked perfectly.   I'm joining the current House-Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge with a fun card featuring Say Cheese (HMP31) by Stampendous. The image was colored with Tombow Markers and fussy cut.  I chose to include the option of embossing with a camera emboss folder.  The sentiment is from MFT placed over the negative of a MFT sun die that I came across in my scraps.  I think it worked perfectly!   I'm joining the current House Mouse and Friends Challenge with a brightly colored laundry scene!  I recently received the new release from Stampendous called Doing Laundry.  I LOVE this sweet spring scene ... hanging laundry is something that I still do! The image was colored with Alcohol inks. I masked the cloudy sky with a scallop die and sponged with Memento ink.  A sentiment from Memory Box finishes the card. The image was colored with Copic Markers then die cut.  Designer papers are from Co'ordinations and the embossed panel was in my stash.  A few sequins finish the card.  I have omitted a sentiment to be added when an occasion arises. Good morning!  I hope everyone is getting time to be crafty this weekend.   I'm sneaking in a little late with an entry for the current House Mouse and Friends challenge using circles/dots.  My card features the adorable Blowing Bubbles images by Stampendous.   I stamped the image twice and die cut the circles then colored with Copic Markers.  The base circle dies were cut from Co'ordinations paper and the base panel is SU Basic Grey embossed with a dot folder. LOTS of dots and circles!   To finish the card, Verves leafy dies were cut using vellum.  I added a few sequins and sentiment from SU.  I'm pleased with the end result!  This will be going into my stash for our church birthdays. I'm a new player over at the House-Mouse challenge .  I've really been having fun and I couldn't resist this sweet little Maxwell "Say Cheese" image when I came across it a Michael's this weekend.  AND I knew that I had the perfect coordinating embossing folder!  It was meant to be! I started by stamping with Memento inks then colored the camera was various Azure warm grey inks.  Maxwell was colored with Copic Markers.  I decided to use the "out of the box" technique with the die and really like the finished effect. I kept it very simple with a couple of color pops with the cheese wedge and sentiment.
