Sassy Cheryl Challenge #197 - Sparkle and Shine

I can't believe that 2013 is almost over! and It's time for the last Sassy Cheryl Challenge  of 2013 with this week's  "Sparkle and Shine". I thought it would be fun to combine this sweet Sassy Sally image called " Let's Party " with a New Year Subway art digital image from Create With TLC . Stella Says Sketch #148

I am stopping by with a quick Birthday card for the Stella Says Sketch Challenge . I have used this week's Bugaboo Freebie image " Cupcake-whip cream ". The image was colored with Copic markers. Liquid applique and glitter was added to the icing. Great Impressions December Challenge - Glitter & Sparkle

I hope everyone is having a great weekend! I'm stopping in to share a quick card for the Great Impressions December Challenge Glitter and Sparkle. My card uses Great Inspirations " Our Memories " And " Clam Shell " Tsukineko Shimmer Spritz and Stickles  were added to the clam shell image for glitter. Glitter was also added to the acrylic paint before splattering onto the base panel with a paint brush. I am also entering this card into the following Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge . Can you believe this is our last Friends with Flair for 2013? Create With TLC - Christmas Special

Hi!  I'm popping in to share a quick digital scrapbook layout featuring one of the new images from Create With TLC. Paulette has four unique digital images on sale right now for $1 each! Perfect for your last minute  Holiday creations. Check it! I'm new to the digital scrapbooking world, so I'm still learning how to pull everything together! Microsoft Digital Image Pro 9 is what I used to create this fun layout.  It's an older program that I purchased at Costco  several years ago.  Of course, I used #1 " Walking in a Winter Wonderland " and layered it with recent freebie retro papers that Paulette graciously provided on the blog. I have a fun little snowy card tonight for a few challenges. This adorable digital stamp is from Bugaboo and called " Winter Penguin Trio ". Mo Manning Challenge #213 - Animals

I {Love} Mo Manning's adorable digital images! I haven't gotten a chance to play with along with the challenge blog for awhile. When I saw this week's challenge,  I knew I had to play! Debbie has asked us to use animals of any kind and/or fairies. I have so many Mo Manning image with animals, but I had this adorable " Bella carrying the cake " printed in my folder ready to color. Here's the image that I colored with Copic markers. I kept the finished card very clean and simple by adding a fun sentiment from Create With TLC called " Cupcakes Equal Love ". Meljen's Designs Challenge #190 - Holly & Berries Plus Friends with Flair

  Hello and welcome to a new Meljen's Designs Challenge . This week's challenge is Holly & Berries - use the colors red and green on your project with a Meljen's digital image. My project includes the adorable " Snowy Moose " digital image by Meljen. The image was colored with Copic Markers.  Liquid Applique and diamond glitter was applied to the "snow".  The sentiment is from Unity Stamp Company . Sassy Cheryl Challenge #194

Friday's are great..... Not only is it the end to the work week BUT It's also Unity's Friends With Flair blog hop! Sorry this is a little last minute, but I decided to also play along with the Unity {be Inspired} Challenge with this scrapbook page. Sassy Cheryl Show Me Challenge #133

I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving Weekend! No shopping for me.... LOTS of house cleaning and projects like this one. Started with a $3.00 frame found at a garage sale this summer. I cleaned it up and removed the sticker then applied several coats of acrylic paint. I really didn't want a complete coverage, but kind of a distressed look. I've had the acrylic paint in my stash for awhile.  I know you can get these bottles cheap at Wal-Mart and it goes a long way. I finished the frame by adding a few family themed epoxy stickers (also from a garage sale) and some coordinating felt flower accents from Michael's clearance bin that were leftover from another project. I really like how it turned out and best of all it's hanging in my craft room where I can see my family whenever I want! Thanks for stopping by for a closer look!
