Stampin' In Alaska

  Good morning!  I needed an Anniversary card for my aunt and uncle who have chickens.  Of course, I bought this AI Bird-Brains image with them in mind.  This is a retired image called Dancing Birdie & Scratch.   The image was colored with Tombow markers on water color paper.  The image is so large that I kept my design CAS with only the sentiment die cut and designer paper borders.   I'm joining the current House Mouse and Friends Monday challenge with a fun shaped card.  My card features an older House Mouse Designs image called Cupcake Celebration.   The image was colored with alcohol markers and die cut with Spellbinders Labels 12.  The rectangle base is 3x5.5 with designer papers from Doodlebug Designs Hello Sunshine paper pad.  Rhinestones and flowers finish the card.   I have been on a short crafty break while spending time with visiting family.  Lots of food, memories and laughs! Beccy's Place released an adorable new digital floral set this month called Hello Lovely .    The water lily image is lovely and I had so much fun creating both cards. The first card was printed onto water color paper and water colored with distress inks.  A sentiment from the set was printed onto vellum and layered over the floral image.  Sequins and a mulberry paper layer finish the card.   Beccy's Place released an adorable new digital set this month called Big Love.  It's full of sweet baby critters and sentiments for all occasions.   The digital images were colored with Copic Markers and Prismacolor pencils.  After coloring the images they were layered onto papers from various paper pads.
