HMFMC #466 ATG or Fun Fold

My easel fold card features the adorable Lavender Bird Feeder stamp set from House Mouse Designs .  We have two hummingbird feeders at our house and they are visiting us constantly.  It's kind of amazing how small and quick they are. I started by coloring the stamped scene with Copic Markers.  It was die cut with Unity Stamp Company stitched postage die.  Designer papers are from My Mind's Eye and Simple Stories.  The sentiment was die cut with the MFT Happy Bday dienamic and Stampin' Up! Perfect Plum card stock. Art Impressions Challenge - Yellow

I'm joining the current Art Impressions challenge to use the color yellow.  I was a recent winner at Art Impressions and chose Kim Hein's adorable Song Birds and Feeders Set.   The image was stamped with my Misti which gave easy alignment for the bird landing on the birdbath.  I used Strathmore watercolor paper and colored with a blender and Tombow markers. The image was die cut with Spellbinder circle and scallop circle dies.  Cardstock from Stampin' Up! - Basic Grey and More Mustard frame the image.  Seam tape ribbon, dry embossed designer paper from Graphic45, gems and leaf dies from Verve Stamps accent the card.  The sentiment is also from Art Impressions. Woodblock Wednesday Challenge - Ink Smooshing

Amy Tsuruta hosts a monthly challenge to use our woodblock stamps.  I look forward to playing along each month as it gives me an "excuse" to look through my stash of older stamps.  This month I was in need of an Anniversary card for my cousin and her husband.  This woodblock image from Stampendous (2011) Beachfront Boat worked perfectly.  I've had this one for a while and I believe it was purchased at JoAnne's when they sold the Stampendous line of stamps. The image was stamped onto an ink smooshed (left over ink) page then cut out and layered with black card stock.  A few embossed lines were applied with my cutting board and a sentiment from Unity Stamp Company.  A coordinating border of Stampin' Up! Perfect Plum card stock finishes the card.  My clean and simple design will be going in the mail this week! Elvis Presley Birthday

I hope everyone has enjoyed a relaxing Memorial Day weekend.  Thank you to all who have served or with family that are in the military.   I'm pulling out an older wood block stamp from Cornish Heritage Farms.  CHF had the licensing for the Elvis Presley stamp series in the 1990's.  Sadly, they are no longer in business.  One of so many family owned stamp companies have closed for personal or business reasons over the years. The image was stamped with Versa Clair Nocturne ink then die cut with Spellbinder Wonky Rectangles.  Panels have been matted with Stampin' Up! Taken with Teal cardstock and embellished with SU blue gems.  The base panel was embossed with a Cuttlebug numbers folder.  A gelli print panel from my stash adds to the 70's vibe.  A birthday tab from MemoryboxCo finishes the card. Angie Blom - Enjoy Your New Adventure

My niece will be turning 16 this week.  Where does the time go??  Once she gets her license she will be driving a Jeep.  So, Angie Blom's Enjoy Your New Adventure digital set was perfect for her card.  I hope she likes it! The scene was colored with Copic Markers and die cut with Scrappy Boys Stitched Scallop Dies.  It has been layered onto Stampin' Up Basic Grey and Co'ordinations plaid.  I used Art Impressions number dies and glitter paper from my stash. Art Impressions - Mix & Match Challenge

Do you like to cruise?!  I'm joining the current Mix & Match challenge (use at least 2 products) at Art Impressions with a fun summer themed tag.  I started by coloring and fussy cutting an image from AI Pack Your Bags set (retired).  Hero Arts tag dies were used with the AI Cruise paper pad . A few colored gems, baker's twine and coordinating sentiment finish the card. Monochromatic Hello

Good morning!  I'm sharing a group of monochromatic designs that will be going out to the Send Senior Citizens Love card drive hosted by Splitcoast Stampers .   I was touched after reading Ashley Lynch's story and how she began the program during the pandemic and lockdown of so many nursing homes.  She began sending notes of encouragement personally which is now a nationwide mission. This group of cards began with my large stack of paper scraps.  All papers are from Stampin' Up! Flirty Flamingo and Peach Parfait. The word dies are Spellbinder  Hello Smile.  Cuttlebug embossing folders were used for the base panel.  A little thread and gems from my stash finish the cards. Copic markers and Stickles were used for the silly bird. The base panel was dry embossed with Cuttlebug dots.  I finished the A2 size card with baker's twine, rhinestones and a coordinating sentiment from the set. Masculine Birthday with Unity Stamps

Okay, I'm going to admit it -- masculine cards do not come easily to me!  Anyone else with me?  Unity Stamp Company is rockin' it with fabulous new designs and awesome deals.  This image is one of their new monthly background sets called The Wild Haven .  It is a large (4.5 x 3.5) detailed red rubber stamp with three coordinating images.  Best of all you can get this set for $15.99 right now!  Be sure to check them out! I began by stamping the image and ink blending the background with various Tim Holtz distress inks.  Prismacolor pencil was also applied to highlight areas of the scene.  The image was layered onto designer papers from Unity Stamp Company Found in the Forest paper pack.  A few metal nail head stickers from Mark Richards and a coordinating sentiment finish the A2 size card. Pajama Crafter Stamps - Forever Loved

I recently rediscovered Pajama Crafter Stamps while browsing Instagram and came across this adorable new set called Forever Loved .  I was instantly hooked!  The set is large enough to almost fill an A2 size card front.  Their stamping quality is fantastic. I colored the image with Copic Markers and added liquid glaze to the light bulb.   The image was die cut with Unity's Postage Stamp Nesting Dies.  Small pieces of "old school" mulberry paper from Stampendous! and gems from Stampin' Up! finish the project. Creative Moments Challenge - Gone but not Forgotten

Cheryl Grant, owner and artist of Sassy Cheryl Digital stamps creates the most adorable scenes.  Although she no longer has a digital store you can find a limited selection of her digital images at Whimsy .  This particular image seems to be retired. The image was colored with Copic Markers and Prismacolor pencils.  A cloudy sky was created with masking and ink blending.  The sentiment tag is from Memory Box Co. with a hand doodled border to finish the card.
