House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge #399 Anything Goes

Are you a thrift store, garage sale, flea market shopper?  I LOVE to find a good treasure.  I was so excited to come across this adorable House Mouse woodblock stamp recently at my local thrift store.  I Give You My Heart (2003) was produced under the Stampabilities brand.  I couldn't wait to ink it up! The image was colored with alcohol markers.  A lightly sponged sky and Wink of Stella highlights on the flowers complete the scene.  I layered the image onto several scrap pieces of designer paper from Echo Park and Pebbles Garden Party paper pads.  Bakers twine and pearls complete the card. I would like to share my card with the following: House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge #399 Anything Goes Woodblock Wednesday Challenge:  September Edition   Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge:  Anything Goes Lil Patch of Crafty Friends:   #214 Anything Goes  Stamping Sensations:  September Garden Delights

Di's Digi Designs - It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas Challenge

The current Di's Digi Designs Challenge is It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas.  I'm joining the fun today with one of Di's adorable digital images called Winter Carols. The image was colored with Copic Markers, fussy cut and adhered to the background with dimension tape.  I created a galaxy background for another card recently and had this piece left.  I love the effect! I created the snowy scene with Stitched Cloudline and Country Landscape die cuts from Memory Box.  Wink of Stella was applied to the edges for sparkle.    The card was finished with silver stars and a sentiment from Stampin' Up! I hope you are having a fabulous weekend! One more day and back to work for me. I am stopping in with a quick post for the  Stella Says Sketch Challenge . SNSDC98 - Think Spring

Happy Friday and welcome to another Sweet 'n Sassy Digi Challenge ! It has been a very busy week for me.  We have also gotten over 20 more inches of snow this week then temperatures fell below zero yesterday!  Wowsers!  What happened to Spring this year?! Well, on to our challenge for this week.  Regardless of the weather in your area of the country we want you to "Think Spring" this week.  So, print out your Spring themed digital images and get busy! Here's what I created this week using one of the March digi releases - Magnolia Block : Magnolia Block $3.00 I kept my design simple to focus on the gorgeous magnolia flower.  The image was printed three times and each layer was colored with the new Wink of Stella glitter brush .  The glitter brush works like a dream!  It provides the perfect amount of glitter and is super easy to control.   The center layer was adhered with dimensional tape and the petal edges ...
